Mumbai Port Authority Manager Recruitment 2026 - 10 Posts

Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) has released Advertisement No. HR-CON./05/2026 dated 05 June 2026 for senior and middle-level contract positions. The engagement is for 3 years and may be extended by 2 more years at the discretion of MbPA. This is a strong opportunity for experienced professionals in port, shipping, infrastructure, legal, IT, environment, and business development roles.

Who Can Apply?

Business Development Posts

• Qualification: Any recognised degree with Post Graduate Degree, MBA, or equivalent qualification from a recognised national or international university.
• Experience: Chief Manager needs 10 years, Senior Manager needs 7 years, and Manager needs 5 years in business development and trade promotion.
• Preferred: Port or shipping sector experience and professional qualification from Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers or Institute of Chartered Logistics and Transport.

Environment Posts

• Chief Manager: PG degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Law with 10 years experience in environmental assessment or regulations.
• Manager: PG degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering with 5 years experience.
• Preferred: Port, shipping, infrastructure, or heavy engineering experience plus safety engineering or industrial health diploma.

ICT Post

• Qualification: First Class Graduate in B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant IT field.
• Experience: You need 5 years executive-cadre experience in programming, electronic data processing, networking, system design and analysis, or relevant IT fields.
• Preferred: PG degree in Computer Science/IT and port or shipping sector experience.

Corporate Legal Posts

• Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognised national or international university.
• Experience: Chief Manager needs 15 years in legal wing of corporates; Manager needs 5 years.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Corporate or Maritime Law, port/shipping experience, and practice as an advocate.

Age Limit

• Chief Manager posts: Upper age limit is 55 years.
• Senior Manager (Business Development): Upper age limit is 45 years.
• Manager posts: Upper age limit is 40 years.
• Reference date: Age, education, and experience are counted as on 01 June 2026.

Salary

• Chief Manager: Rs. 2,00,000 per month consolidated pay.
• Senior Manager: Rs. 1,60,000 per month consolidated pay.
• Manager: Rs. 1,20,000 per month consolidated pay.
• Other benefits: Medical facility at MbPA hospital/dispensary, 20 days casual leave in a year, public holidays, and official tour TA/DA as per applicable Ministry guidelines.
• Accommodation: MbPA quarters may be provided if available, with rent and utility charges as per the notice.

Selection Process
