Thane Municipal Corporation has issued a notice inviting retired government officers to work as Office Superintendent for its Ram Ganesh Gadkari Rangayatan and Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruh (theatre halls). The engagement will run for six months under the terms of a Maharashtra Government Resolution dated 10 June 2025 that allows municipal bodies to re-engage superannuated officers on a service-contract basis. Only candidates who already worked as Class-1 or Class-2 officers before retiring can apply — this is not an open recruitment for fresh graduates.
