TiHAN-IITH Senior Research Assistant Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview

NMICPS TiHAN Foundation, IIT Hyderabad (TiHAN-IITH) is looking for a Senior Research Assistant Fellow to work on applied research at the IIT Hyderabad campus. Posts and Disciplines

• Embedded Systems: practical design, controller-board integration, schematic understanding and debugging for connected hardware.

Post-wise Duties

Embedded Systems

You will guide prototype integration, investigate faults and connect sensors with controller boards. Strong debugging and schematic-reading skills will matter when a system behaves differently outside the lab.

AI and Machine Learning

You will design experiments around multimodal and computer-vision models, check their performance on real-world datasets and prepare them for embedded deployment. The focus is usable, real-time AI, including applications where reliability and safety are important.

Drone and UAV

You will bring navigation, sensor fusion and UAV software into a working experimental setup. Your work may cover both system behaviour and data analytics, with findings prepared for technical reports or research papers.

Communication and Networking

You will work with digital communication building blocks and support implementation in C, C++ or Python. Embedded and software-defined-radio development may be used to test communication ideas in practical systems.
