Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is hiring 1 Executive Director (Electrical) at its Corporate Office, New Delhi on an immediate absorption basis. RVNL Executive Director (Electrical) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Government of India Enterprise and Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has released Vacancy Notice No. 2026/RVNL/27-ELEC for the post of Executive Director (Electrical) on immediate absorption basis. The role is based at the RVNL Corporate Office in New Delhi and reports directly to senior corporate leadership. This is a top-level executive position open to serving officials of Government, Railways and PSUs holding analogous Group A grades.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognised University/Institute.
• Experience: You must have experience in execution of infrastructure projects, railway electrification, rolling stock production, metro projects or business development. Prior experience of PSU working is preferred.
• Service Eligibility (Officials including those on deputation, holding substantive posts):
  • Holding posts in analogous grade (i.e. Level-15 (CDA) / E-9 (IDA)), OR
  • Holding posts in Level-14 (CDA) with at least 25 years of Group A service, OR
  • Holding posts in IDA E-8 (Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000) with at least 4 years of service in that grade.
• Physical & Medical: You must be physically and medically fit; selected candidates will undergo a medical examination as per RVNL policy.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 57 years
• Age cut-off is reckoned as on closing date of vacancy notice (19 June 2026)

Salary

• Pay Scale: IDA E-9 (Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000 per month)

Selection Process

Selection is based on screening of applications followed by interview:

1. Application Screening: RVNL will shortlist suitable candidates based on eligibility and experience in the relevant field.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidate will undergo medical fitness test as per RVNL policy.
4. Document Verification: Final selection is subject to verification of vigilance/DAR clearance and last 5 years' APAR grading.

• Lead execution of railway electrification, infrastructure and metro projects at the corporate level
• Manage rolling stock production planning and project delivery schedules
• Coordinate with zonal railways, PSUs and external stakeholders on electrical works
• Oversee business development initiatives in the electrical and infrastructure portfolio
• Provide strategic technical direction on electrical systems in railway projects
• Review tender documents, project budgets and contract management for electrical works
• Mentor and guide subordinate executives and project teams
• Report directly to senior corporate leadership on project progress and risks
