Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU), Jhansi is hiring research and project staff for agriculture, food science, laboratory, remote-sensing and education assignments. The university is filling these roles through walk-in interviews for projects funded by UPCST, DBT, UPCAR and university programmes. • Young Professional-II, certification laboratory: handles analytical work for organically and naturally grown products in the Bundelkhand region.
• Young Professional-II, nutri-cereals: supports food processing, quality control and microbiological analysis for the Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals.
• Young Professional-I, nutri-cereals: contributes to field and laboratory experiments, research data handling and technical reporting.
• Young Professional-II, carbon readiness: works on agroforestry inventories, biomass and carbon assessment, satellite data and land-cover mapping for Jhansi district.
• Young Professional-I, Directorate of Education: handles office applications, data entry and record digitisation for the university's education unit.

Post-wise Duties

Junior Research Assistant

You will help run mushroom cultivation and plant-pathology research, record experimental observations and support project documentation.

Lab or Project Assistant

You will assist with sesame laboratory and field experiments, keep research material organised and use computers for basic data work.

Young Professional-II

Your assignment may involve analytical instruments, food-quality testing or remote-sensing and carbon-mapping work. You will collect or process technical data and prepare clear project records for the relevant team.

Young Professional-I

You may support crop experiments and research reporting or manage digital records for the Directorate of Education. The exact work depends on the project named against your post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The appointment is ad hoc for one year or until the project ends, whichever comes first. Extension may be considered under the applicable norms and based on performance.
• No regular claim: Selection does not create any right to permanent absorption or regular appointment at RLBCAU.
• Early termination: The competent authority may end the contract before project completion under the terms stated in the notice.
• Travel and stay: No TA, DA or official accommodation will be provided for attending the interview.
• Project-specific condition: The mushroom-project Junior Research Assistant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Joining fitness: The selected person must provide a medical certificate when joining.

Application Submission Notes

Attend the walk-in at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Near Pahuj Dam, Gwalior Road, Jhansi-284003. Bring the prescribed application with a full bio-data, a passport-size photograph and attested photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from matriculation onward.

You must also carry the relevant original certificates and mark sheets for checking at the venue. Choose the correct interview session for your post, because the seven entries are scheduled separately across four days.
