Post-wise Duties

Manager Instrumentation

You will work with bridge instrumentation and data acquisition systems, including sensor installation, cabling and field recording. Calibration, testing and commissioning are part of the work described in the notice. Your practical focus is on the equipment and measurement chain used to monitor a bridge.

Manager Civil

You will contribute to bridge inspections, structural assessments and rehabilitation studies, including technical proposal work and site coordination. Design review and relevant bridge standards form part of this engineering work.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial contract: The engagement starts with a one-year term. It may continue until the assignment finishes if both sides agree and your performance remains satisfactory.
• Project-dependent offers: Being placed on a panel does not create a right to appointment. RITES issues offers when project or company needs arise and when the deployment conditions are met.
• Early termination: The notice allows the company to end service without notice or payment instead of notice for unsatisfactory performance, misconduct or wrongdoing, or if the client discontinues the services.
• Posting: You can be assigned anywhere in India according to company needs. Keep this transfer and deployment condition in mind when considering the engagement.
• Leaving your present employer: Government and public sector employees, including RITES staff, must obtain proper release from their current organisation before joining.
• Travel costs: RITES will not pay fares or travel and daily allowance for this recruitment. Plan your attendance arrangements accordingly.
