Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Rahuri, the Maharashtra government's agricultural university, wants an Assistant Professor in Statistics for its Government College of Agriculture, Dhule. The college needs someone to handle the day-to-day academic work of the Statistics subject, so this is a teaching-first role for an 11-month contractual term, not a regular faculty post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Bond paper: You must submit an undertaking on a Rs. 500 bond paper accepting all the terms and conditions.
• Full-time only: You cannot take up any other appointment during the contract period. To resign, you must give one month's notice or pay one month's fixed pay.
• Semester work: If the contract ends mid-semester and is not renewed, you are expected to finish the pending work at your own cost and without extra pay.
• Discipline: Any indiscipline can lead to termination without notice, and the appointment can be ended at any time without a reason.
• No permanency: This contractual appointment gives you no claim to a permanent post.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates attend the interview before the university's Selection Committee at their own cost, and must carry all original documents.
