ESIC Doctor Multi-Post Recruitment 2026

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital Jajmau, Kanpur is holding a walk-in interview for 26 doctor posts. This one notice covers Full Time/Part Time Contractual Specialists, Senior Residents, and one retired doctor post. Who Can Apply?

For Specialist Posts

• Qualification: PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university.
• Experience: You need 3 years of experience after PG Degree or 5 years of experience after PG Diploma.
• A&E Specialist: MBBS followed by MD/MS in Emergency Medicine or a similar specialty like Internal Medicine, Anaesthesia, or General Surgery, with the required experience.

For Senior Resident Posts

• Qualification: PG Degree or PG Diploma from a recognised university in the same discipline in which you want to be engaged.
• Tenure: The Senior Resident engagement is under the 3 years residency scheme and is extendable every year based on work performance.

For Retired Doctor Post

• Qualification: MBBS Degree from a recognised medical institute.
• Service background: You should be a retired allopathic doctor from ESIC, government, semi-government, PSU, or an autonomous body.
• Posting: The selected doctor will work at D.C.B.O. Rania, Kanpur Dehat.

Age Limit

• Specialist posts: Maximum age is 69 years on the date of interview.
• Senior Resident posts: Maximum age is 45 years on the date of interview.
• Retired doctor post: Maximum age is 69 years as on the last date for submission of application.
• Relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, and Ex-serviceman age relaxation will be as per rules.

Salary

• Junior Specialist: Rs. 1,41,899 per month, plus transport allowance with DA on TA as per rules.
• Senior Specialist: Rs. 1,65,165 per month, plus transport allowance with DA on TA as per rules.
• Part Time Specialist: Rs. 60,000 fixed pay for 16 hours per week, Rs. 15,000 for emergency visit, and Rs. 800 per hour beyond 16 hours per week.
• Senior Resident: Rs. 67,700 as per Level 11 of the 7th CPC matrix plus allowances. The pay is reduced by Rs. 1,350 for diploma holders.
• Retired Doctor: Rs. 75,000 consolidated monthly pay.

Application Fee

• UR/OBC: Rs. 300 demand draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1, payable at State Bank of India, Kanpur, UP.
• SC/ST: Rs. 75 demand draft.
• PWD and Female candidates: No fee.
• Refund: The demand draft is non-refundable.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through walk-in interview and document checking. No written exam is mentioned in the notice.

1. Prior Appointment: You must fix an appointment before appearing for the interview.
2. Walk-in Interview: Report at ESIC Hospital Jajmau, Kanpur on 12 June 2026 between 09:30 AM and 03:00 PM.
3. Document Checking: Bring original documents and one Xerox copy for checking.
4. Selection Board Decision: Final selection will be based on the interview board's decision.
5. Joining: Selected people must join within 7 days from the date of the selection order.
