All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur (AIIMS Nagpur) has released notification No. AIIMS/NGP/DCM/2026 dated 06.04.2026 for 17 project staff positions in the Department of Community Medicine. The project is titled "Situation Analysis for Delivery of Vitamin C Rich Fruits for Reduction of Anaemia among School-aged Children and Pregnant Women in Gadchiroli and Nagpur Districts" and is funded by Tata Trusts. • Option 2: MBBS / BDS + Post Graduate Degree (MD / MVSc / MDS / MPH) or any equivalent degree, including integrated PG degrees
• Option 3: MBBS / BDS with PhD

Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) — Rs. 67,200/month

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees

Project Technical Support-III — Rs. 33,600/month

• Option 1: 3-year Graduate degree in a relevant subject + 3 years of post-qualification experience
• Option 2: Post Graduate degree in a relevant subject

Project Technical Support-I (Data Entry Operator) — Rs. 21,600/month

• Option 1: 10th pass + Diploma (MLT / DMLT / ITI or equivalent) + 2 years of experience in a relevant field
• Option 2: 3-year Graduate degree in a relevant subject + 1 year of experience

Project Technical Support-II (Lab Technician) — Rs. 24,000/month

• Option 1: 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT / DMLT or equivalent) + 5 years of experience in a relevant field
• Option 2: 3-year Graduate degree in a relevant subject + 2 years of experience

Qualifications, experience, and other conditions may be relaxed at the discretion of the Project Investigator.

Age Limit

• Project Research Scientist-II (Medical): Maximum 40 years
• All other posts: Maximum 35 years
• Age relaxation: As per Government of India rules for reserved categories

Salary

• Project Research Scientist-II (Medical): Rs. 80,000 + 20% HRA = Rs. 96,000 per month
• Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA = Rs. 67,200 per month
• Project Technical Support-III: Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA = Rs. 33,600 per month
• Project Technical Support-II (Lab Technician): Rs. 20,000 + 20% HRA = Rs. 24,000 per month
• Project Technical Support-I (DEO): Rs. 18,000 + 20% HRA = Rs. 21,600 per month

These are consolidated salaries. No other allowances or facilities will be provided beyond the consolidated amount.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through up to 2 stages:

1. Written Test (Screening): A screening written test may be conducted if too many applications are received. This is not guaranteed for all candidates.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a walk-in interview at AIIMS Nagpur. The date and time of the interview will be sent to you by email.

A panel of recommended candidates will be shortlisted after the written test (if conducted), followed by the interview.
