West Assam Milk Producers' Co-operative Union Ltd (WAMUL), which runs the popular Purabi Dairy brand in Assam, has released REOI No. WAMUL/2026-27/09 dated 02 July 2026 for the post of Sr. Assistant/Assistant (Procurement & Input) at its Guwahati office. This role involves handling milk procurement billing, accounts, and MIS reporting for the dairy cooperative. Candidates with experience in the dairy, cooperative, or rural development sector will get preference. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a full-time B.Com degree from a recognized institute or university. Candidates with other or higher qualifications need not apply.
• Experience: You need 3 years of full-time experience for the Sr. Assistant post, or 1 year for the Assistant post, in billing, accounts, finance, data management, or related administrative work. Experience in the dairy, cooperative, or rural development sector is an added advantage.
• Language: You should have working knowledge of any two of English, Assamese, and Hindi. Knowledge of other indigenous languages of Assam is an added advantage.
• Computer Skills: You must know Accounting Software (Tally), MS Office, Excel, and ERP systems, and produce a computer proficiency certificate.
• Internal candidates related to Purabi Dairy must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority.

Age Limit

• You should not be above 32 years old as on 1 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Up to 3 years relaxation may be given for extraordinary/outstanding candidates or those with relevant experience.

Salary

• The CTC for this post ranges from Rs. 3.92 lakh to Rs. 6.53 lakh per annum (approximately Rs. 32,667 to Rs. 54,417 per month), including PF and other contributions.
• The exact amount is negotiable and depends on your qualification and experience.
• You will also get conveyance allowance and TA/DA for field movement within the operational area, as per eligibility.

Work Details

• You will report to the Group Head (Procurement & Input), WAMUL.
• Your performance will be reviewed based on Key Result Areas (KRA), and your pay may be enhanced annually based on performance.
• You will be eligible for paid leaves and holidays as per WAMUL policy.
• WAMUL reserves the right to transfer you to any department or location as per organizational needs.

• Prepare and process farmer milk billing accurately within deadlines
• Verify milk procurement data, rates, deductions, and incentives before bill generation

• Ensure timely disbursement of milk payments to producer members
• Maintain billing data and records in ERP, Tally, and other accounting systems
• Reconcile milk procurement, payment, and accounting data with concerned departments
• Coordinate with Milk Procurement Officers and field staff to resolve billing issues
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all billing and reporting records
