Udaybhansinhji Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (URICM), Gandhinagar has invited applications for 3 Lecturer posts on contract basis. URICM is an autonomous institution under the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi, promoted by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India. The Institute runs the AICTE-approved PGDM in Agri-Business Management program along with HDCM and MDP training programs. Selection is purely through interview — there is no written exam. The initial contract is for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years on satisfactory performance.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks in any of these subjects: Economics, Agriculture, Commerce, Business Administration, Cooperation, Cooperative Development, Law (LLB), MCA/MS or M.Tech in Computer Science
• NET qualified or PhD is mandatory

Experience

• You need 5 years of teaching experience in a recognised University, Institute, Cooperative Training Organisation, Central or State Government, or Autonomous Body
• If you are working in private sector or private universities, your CTC should be comparable with the pay scale prescribed for Government/PSUs

Preferred

• Experience in a Cooperative Organisation in the relevant field is preferable

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 38 years

Salary

• Consolidated monthly remuneration: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 90,000 per month
• The exact figure is fixed based on your qualification, experience, and last pay drawn (negotiable as per CTC for deserving candidates)
• 5% annual increment on satisfactory performance (up to 15% for extraordinary performance, subject to NCCT Executive Council approval)
• No DA, HRA or other allowances in addition to the consolidated remuneration
• Hostel accommodation may be provided inside the Institute campus (subject to availability), with a licence fee of 20% of consolidated remuneration plus actual electricity and water charges
• 15 days paid leave per calendar year (cannot be carried forward)

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely interview-based:

1. Interview by Selection Committee: The Institute's Selection Committee evaluates candidates on qualifications, experience, and subject expertise
2. Document Verification: Selected candidates must produce original certificates for verification of eligibility
3. Final Approval: Recommendation of the Selection Committee is placed before the NCCT Executive Council for final approval

Note: The contract is for 3 years initially, extendable by 2 more years (maximum 5 years) on satisfactory yearly performance.

• Conduct Management Development Programmes (MDPs) for cooperative officers and government officials
• Guide PGDM students in their summer projects and dissertations
• Participate in research, publish papers and contribute to institutional academic activities
• Maintain confidentiality of assigned work and follow NCCT conduct rules
• Attend office during working hours and during holidays when required
