Who Can Apply?
You must be a citizen of India and your educational qualification depends on the post you choose:
Manager / Junior Manager (District Co-op Bank)
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with at least 55% marks, OR a Bachelor's degree with one subject in Economics / Mathematics / Statistics with at least 55%, AND 'O' level computer certificate.
- OR B.Tech / B.E. (Computer Science / IT) / BCA / MCA with at least 55%.
- OR BBA / MBA in Banking / Finance / HR from a UGC / AICTE recognized institution.
Assistant / Cashier (Banking Assistant / Clerical Staff)
- Graduate with 55% marks from a recognized university, plus a CCC certificate in computer.
Assistant Engineer (Civil / Electrical)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical)
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Stenographer / Assistant Stenographer
- Graduate with 80 wpm shorthand speed in Hindi and English, plus 30 wpm Hindi typing and 40 wpm English typing, plus CCC certificate.
Junior Assistant / Assistant Typist / Clerk Typist
- Graduate from a recognized university with 30 wpm Hindi typing and 40 wpm English typing, plus CCC / 'O' level certificate.
Note: Only candidates with Uttar Pradesh domicile get the benefit of reservation and age relaxation. Candidates from outside UP are treated as Unreserved.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 21 years (born on or before 01 January 2005)
- Maximum age: 40 years (born on or after 01 January 1986)
- Age is calculated as on 01 January 2026
- Maximum age for Divyangjan candidates: 55 years (born on or after 01 January 1971)
- Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC of UP, UP State employees, teachers / staff in UP aided schools: 5 years
- Age relaxation for Divyangjan of UP: 15 years
- Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen: equal to military service period plus 3 years
Salary
Salary varies sharply by post and pay scale. Here are the key ranges:
- Manager (Category-1): Rs. 34,000 to Rs. 88,000 per month (with grade pay 2600/2800)
- Assistant Manager (Computer / General): Rs. 43,890 to Rs. 89,285 per month
- Assistant Engineer (Civil / Electrical): as per Pay Level applicable
- Accountant: Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month (Pay Level 6)
- Junior Engineer / Junior Assistant / Steno: Pay Level 2 to Pay Level 5, ranging Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 92,300
- Assistant / Cashier (Clerical): Rs. 15,290 to Rs. 38,590 per month for most posts
Plus you get DA, HRA and other allowances as per the rules of the concerned co-operative society / federation.
Application Fee
- Unreserved / OBC of UP: Rs. 500
- SC / ST of UP: Rs. 250
- Divyangjan of UP: Zero (No Fee)
- Candidates from outside UP must pay fee as per Unreserved category
- EWS candidates of UP pay the Unreserved fee
- If the exam runs in two stages (Preliminary + Main), you pay the fee separately for each stage

Selection Process
- Online Examination: Conducted by the Service Board through IBPS. The Preliminary Examination has 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes; the Main Examination has 120 questions for 200 marks in 120 minutes. Both are objective MCQ with 1/4 negative marking (25% of marks deducted per wrong answer).
- Interview (Category-1 and Category-2 posts): Up to 3 times the number of vacancies get called for interview based on Main exam marks.
- Skill Test / Proficiency Test (Category-3 posts): Up to 5 times the number of vacancies get called for the skill test (typing / shorthand / computer skills).
Minimum efficiency standard in the Main Exam: 35% for SC / ST, 40% for other categories.

- Select "Click here for New Registration", enter your name, contact details and email ID.
- You will receive a temporary registration number and password by SMS / email — note it down.
- Login again, fill in personal details, qualification details, and post / institution-based order of preference (which cannot be changed later).
- Upload your photo (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm), signature, left-hand thumb impression and a handwritten declaration in English.
- Pay the application fee online and submit before 15 May 2026.
- Take a printout of the completed application along with the e-Receipt.

Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day banking and clerical operations at the assigned co-operative bank or society branch
- Manage cash transactions, customer deposits, withdrawals and account opening duties
- Maintain accurate records, ledgers and financial reports as per cooperative banking rules
- Assist with loan processing, recovery and member service tasks
- Follow RBI, NABARD and Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Department guidelines in all transactions
- Support technical, engineering, computer or stenographic work depending on your specific post
- Work with senior officers to meet branch and society performance targets
- Prepare reports, file returns and respond to internal audit queries on time
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree from a recognized University (specific subject depends on post — Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, BBA / MBA or relevant Diploma)
Preferred Qualification

Exam Pattern
The exam runs in two stages when application volume is high. Otherwise only the Main Exam counts:
- Preliminary Examination: 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes (objective MCQ, online mode). Marks not added to final merit.
- Main Examination: 120 questions for 200 marks in 120 minutes (objective MCQ, online mode). Marks count for the merit list.
- Negative Marking: 1/4 (25%) of marks deducted for each wrong answer. No deduction for unattempted questions.
- Question Paper Language: Both Hindi and English (except General Hindi and General English topics).
- Minimum Efficiency Standard: 35% for SC / ST, 40% for other categories in the Main Exam.
- Up to 15 times the vacancies qualify for the Main Exam from the Preliminary.
- Up to 3 times the vacancies get called for interview (Category-1 / 2).
- Up to 5 times the vacancies get called for skill test (Category-3).
