State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, located at Block No. 33, SDA Complex, Kasumpti, Shimla-171009, is a statutory consumer protection body constituted under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Who Can Apply?

This post is filled by promotion from the feeder category. You must be working as a Junior Scale Stenographer, Steno-Typist, or Judgment Writer in one of the following organisations:

• Hon'ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh
• District Judiciary in the State of Himachal Pradesh
• Government or Semi-Government establishments in Himachal Pradesh

Service Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of regular service — or regular combined with continuous ad hoc service — in the feeder category

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a university recognised by the Government of Himachal Pradesh

Shorthand and Typing

• English Shorthand speed: 100 words per minute (WPM)
• English Typing speed: 40 words per minute (WPM)

Computer Knowledge

• Adequate knowledge of word processing on computer

Important: Candidates who have already applied in response to Advertisement Notice No. HP/CPC/SSS/2025(2) dated 14 August 2025 do not need to apply again.
