District Programme Officer, Sambhal Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika) Recruitment 2026 - 177 Posts
The Office of the District Programme Officer (DPO), Sambhal, under the Women and Child Development Department, Uttar Pradesh, has released a notification for 177 Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika) honorarium posts spread across 8 Child Development Project areas in the district — Asmoli, Bahjoi, Baniyakhera, Gunnaur, Junawai, Pawansa, Rajpura and Sambhal — covering both rural and urban blocks. This is a direct recruitment drive open only to women candidates, and there is no written exam — selection is based purely on your academic merit. Anganwadi Helpers support the Anganwadi Worker in running the local Anganwadi centre, which provides nutrition, health, and early childhood care services to children and mothers in the community. If you have passed Intermediate (12th) and live in the same village or ward where a vacancy exists, this is a solid local opportunity to join government service without competing in a written test. The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme runs Anganwadi centres across India to support early childhood nutrition, pre-school learning, and maternal health, which makes the Anganwadi Helper's role an important link between the government and local families.
