Earn up to Rs. 54,540 per month plus Rs. 3,000 travel allowance -- Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) is hiring Assistant Managers in Electrical and Finance departments. UCSL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), one of India's largest shipbuilding companies. This is a 5-year contract position based in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu.

Who Can Apply

There are two posts with different qualification requirements:

Assistant Manager (Electrical) -- 1 Post:

• BE or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field

Assistant Manager (Finance) -- 1 Post:

• M.Com with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounts

The maximum age limit is 30 years as on 23 March 2026.

Salary Details

Your salary starts at Rs. 49,500 per month in the first year and goes up to Rs. 54,540 per month by the fifth year. On top of this, you get Rs. 3,000 per month as travel allowance. Since this is a contract position with consolidated pay, there are no separate DA or HRA components. Your take-home will be close to the total amount shown above.

Selection Process

The selection is based on a total of 100 marks spread across three stages:

1. MCQ Test (Objective Type) -- 50 marks
2. PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) -- 30 marks (based on your work experience)
3. Personal Interview -- 20 marks
