Who Can Apply?

Minimum Qualification

• You must hold a Postgraduate Degree or Diploma (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) in the concerned specialty.
• If a PG candidate is not available, candidates with only MBBS may be considered for selection.

For Pre-Clinical/Para-Clinical Departments

• For Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Microbiology, candidates with MSc (Medical) in the concerned subject may also apply.

For Dentistry Department

• Only candidates possessing MDS Degree in the concerned specialty of Dentistry can apply.

Registration

• You need a valid registration with the Medical Council of India / Delhi Medical Council / Dental Council for PG (or acknowledgement of application).

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years for Post-Graduate and post-doctoral degree holders.
• Age, qualification and experience will be reckoned as on the closing date of online application.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates get relaxation as per Government of India norms.

Salary

• PG Degree/Diploma holders: Pay Matrix Level 11, Rs. 67,700 - 2,08,700 per month (entry level) under CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016.
• MBBS only: Pay Matrix Level 10, Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500 per month (entry level).
• Non-Medical Qualification: Pay Matrix Level 7, Rs. 44,900 - 1,42,400 per month (entry level).
• Plus DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Central Government rules.

• SC / ST / PwBD / Women applicants: Rs. 250

Selection Process

Selection is through interview. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the online application will be called to UCMS, Delhi with all original documents.

1. Scrutiny of Online Application: Eligibility checked against the advertised criteria.
2. Document Verification: Candidates report with originals and self-attested photocopies as per Annexure-I.
3. Personal Interview: The final decision is taken by the selection committee — no TA/DA is admissible.

Important Dates

• Handle clinical duties in the assigned department and attend to inpatients, outpatients and emergencies
• Teach and demonstrate procedures to MBBS undergraduate students during practical and clinical postings
• Assist consultants in surgeries, procedures, ward rounds and academic case discussions
• Maintain patient case records, departmental registers and submit periodic reports
• Participate in departmental research, publications and case presentations
• Work in rotating shifts including night duty and emergency call as per the duty roster
• Follow the standard treatment protocols and infection control guidelines of UCMS and GTB Hospital
• Take part in academic activities like seminars, journal clubs and CME programmes of the department
