The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad has released a notice inviting nominations for the various medical posts at the Academy hospital. The Academy is the premier training institution for Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers and the selected staff will support the medical wing serving probationers, faculty and their families. This is a deputation opening — serving government officers from CAPFs, AIIMS, ESIC, CGHS, NVS, Railway, State medical colleges and similar institutions can apply through proper channel.

Who Can Apply?

For Staff Nurse (Level 7)

• Service: Officers holding the post of Staff Nurse or Nursing Officer under Central/State/UT Government
• Grade: Holding analogous post on regular basis, OR 5 years of regular service in Level-6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400) in the pay matrix
• Method: By deputation

For Laboratory Technician (Level 6)

• Service: Officers of Central/State/UT Government holding analogous post, OR with 6 years of regular service in Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300)
• Educational Qualification: B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) from a recognised institution; OR B.Sc (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology) with diploma in Medical Lab Technology; OR B.Tech (Bio Technology)
• Method: By Deputation failing which by direct recruitment

For X-Ray Technician (Level 4)

• Service: Officers under Central/State/UT Government, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, Statutory Bodies, Research Institutes, Universities and Semi Government organisations
• Grade: Holding analogous post in the Parent Cadre with 3 years of regular service in Level-4
• Method: By Deputation failing which by direct recruitment

Age Limit

• Maximum age for deputation: 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (applies to all 3 posts)
• The deputation period (including any preceding ex-cadre deputation) will normally not exceed 3 years

Salary

• Staff Nurse: Level 7 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 44,900 - Rs. 1,42,400 per month)
• Laboratory Technician: Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400 per month)
• X-Ray Technician: Level 4 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100 per month)
• Plus DA, HRA and other allowances as per Central Government orders from time to time
• Training Allowance: Not applicable

Selection Process

This is a deputation/nomination process — there is no written exam.

1. Submission of Nomination: Your parent department/medical college forwards your bio-data (Annexure-II) along with attested ACRs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25), Integrity & Vigilance Certificate, and Major/Minor Penalty details for the last 10 years.
2. Screening by Selection Committee: The Selection Committee at SVPNPA verifies your essential qualifications, experience and service record.
3. Final Selection: Based on eligibility, suitability and service profile.

How to Apply

1. Get the bio-data proforma (Annexure-II) from the SVPNPA notice on svpnpa.gov.in under the 'Vacancies' tab.
2. Fill in all 18 items of the bio-data including service details, qualifications, present employment and achievements.
3. Attach attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for 2020-21 to 2024-25.
4. Get the Integrity, Vigilance and Major/Minor Penalty certificates from your employer.
5. Have the application duly attested and countersigned by the competent authority.
6. Forward the application through proper channel by Speed Post to the Administrative Officer (Estt), SVP NPA, Hyderabad - 500 052 within 42 days from the date of publication of the notice in Employment News.

• Staff Nurse: Work round-the-clock shifts, give medical aid to faculty and probationers, assist in outdoor activities like Games, Cross Country, Firing and Jungle Camp, maintain in-patient and out-patient records
• Lab Technician: Collect blood samples and specimens, prepare reports, operate and calibrate lab equipment, maintain daily logs and deliver test results to physicians
• X-Ray Technician: Take X-rays of patients advised by doctors, operate radiographic equipment, assist in diagnosis, issue X-ray films and reports
• Maintain sterilisation of instruments, cotton, gauze and suturing material (Staff Nurse)
• Educate patients about their individual problems and emergency equipment use (Staff Nurse)
• Liaison with Faculty, Probationers and other staff for Specialist Consultations in twin cities (Staff Nurse)
