Travancore Titanium Products Limited, a Government of Kerala undertaking based in Thiruvananthapuram, is the largest manufacturer of Anatase grade titanium dioxide in India. The company has released Category No. 13/2026 through Kerala PSC for filling 2 vacancies of Assistant Manager (Production) by Direct Recruitment. This is a statewide recruitment open to eligible candidates across Kerala.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Minimum: Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognised university
• Preferred: PG Degree in Chemical Engineering or PG Diploma in Business Management

Other Requirements

• Qualifications recognised by executive orders or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to a Chemical Engineering degree will also be accepted
• Candidates must register on the Kerala PSC One Time Registration (Thulasi) portal before applying

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• You must have been born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included)
• OBC/SC/ST candidates: Eligible for usual age relaxation as per Kerala PSC rules
• Maximum upper age limit: Cannot exceed 50 years in any case
• Provisional hands of TTPL get age relaxation up to 5 years from the upper age limit, subject to being within the prescribed age limit at the time of first appointment. Regular employees of TTPL are not eligible for this concession.

Salary

• Pay Scale (Pre-revised): Rs. 20,740 — 36,140 per month
• Revised Pay Scale (11th Pay Revision): Rs. 39,500 — 83,000 per month
• Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Provident Fund (PF), Insurance, and other allowances as per TTPL rules

Selection Process

1. Written/OMR/Online Test: If conducted, only candidates with the required Chemical Engineering qualification need to submit a Confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Admission tickets will be available 15 days before the test date.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, and community at the time of verification.

The final ranked list will remain in force for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years. Candidates will be advised against the 2 vacancies shown above and for all vacancies reported during the pendency of the ranked list.

• Handle day-to-day production operations in the titanium dioxide manufacturing plant
• Monitor and control chemical processes to maintain quality and safety standards
• Prepare production reports and maintain records of plant performance data
• Assist senior management in planning production schedules and resource allocation
• Work with the quality control team to check product specifications and compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations applicable to chemical manufacturing
• Manage raw material consumption and minimise wastage in the production process
• Keep track of equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with the maintenance team
