Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Grant-in-Aid Institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, dedicated to cancer care, research, and education across the country. Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCH&RC), Muzaffarpur, located at the Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital Campus in Umanagar, is one of TMC's regional cancer centres serving Bihar and neighbouring states. This walk-in-interview notice, Advertisement No. OS/MUZ/2026/69 dated 30 July 2026, has been issued to fill 1 Technician (Plumber Cum Mason) post for deployment at HBCH&RC, Muzaffarpur. The appointment is initially for six months and can be extended if required. This role suits candidates skilled in plumbing and general civil maintenance work in hospital or institutional buildings.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need 10th Standard plus an ITI (Plumber) course — a 1-year full-time course from a government-recognized institute.
• Experience: You need 3 years of experience after ITI, OR 2 years of experience after ITI plus NCTVT in Plumbing, along with experience in miscellaneous civil maintenance work in hospital, institutional, commercial, or residential buildings.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 27 years old as on the date of the walk-in interview.
• Age Relaxation: Deserving and bright candidates may be given age relaxation.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 23,218 per month.

Selection Process

Selection is mainly through a walk-in interview:

1. Screening (if needed): If a large number of candidates apply, an MCQ test will be conducted first, and eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
2. Interview: Bring your bio-data, a recent passport-size photo, PAN card, Aadhar card, and educational and experience certificates in original along with one set of self-attested copies.
