ICDS Buxar Female Supervisor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Buxar is recruiting Female Supervisors from serving Anganwadi workers in the district. The District Programme Office is conducting this contractual recruitment through the district selection committee. The notice provides a route for experienced workers already serving in Anganwadi centres to move into the supervisor role.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Local recruitment: You must be a permanent resident of Buxar district. The recruitment is specifically for women working as Anganwadi workers under the district ICDS programme.
• Contract terms: You must give an undertaking that you will not claim regular appointment on the basis of this engagement. Read that condition carefully before applying for the contractual role.
• Permission for further study: If you earned a higher qualification while working as an Anganwadi worker, attach the permission granted for those studies. The office will consider higher-degree marks only when that permission is supported.
• Tied merit: When workers receive the same merit score, the older worker is placed higher in the list. This gives a clear rule for resolving equal scores.
• Service record: An Anganwadi worker removed from selection because of irregularities cannot be appointed through this recruitment.
• Reservation condition: Appointment under the reservation provisions remains subject to the outcome of the Supreme Court matter referenced in the notice. The district committee will apply the notified category allocations.

Application Submission Notes

Both online and postal submission are required. Send the signed application copy and prescribed enclosures by registered post to the District Programme Officer, ICDS, Buxar. The notice does not accept hand-delivered applications.

Write “आंगनबाड़ी सेविका से महिला पर्यवेक्षिका पद हेतु आवेदन” on the left side of the envelope. Keep a copy of your application and retain the registered-post receipt, which you must bring when called for counselling.

Postal receipt at the office must fall within the notified time limit. An offline packet without the online application, or a packet received after the deadline, will not be considered.
