• General Medicine: M.D./D.N.B. (Internal Medicine)

Medical Physicist & Scientific Officer Posts (Level 11, Rs. 67,700/month):

• Medical Physicist: M.Sc. (Physics) + Diploma in Radiological Physics (BARC/AERB-approved) with 5 years' experience
• Scientific Officer (Quality): M.Sc./PG degree or MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS with 3-5 years' relevant experience
• Scientific Officer (Physiotherapy): Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) with 5 years' experience

Officer-in-Charge, Dispensary (Level 10, Rs. 56,100/month):

• Qualification: B.Pharm + PG Diploma in Material Management/Business Administration (5-10 years' hospital dispensary experience), OR MBBS + PG Diploma in Material Management/Business Administration (4 years' experience)

Scientific Assistant Posts (Level 6-7, Rs. 35,400-44,900/month):

• Nuclear Medicine: B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Nuclear Medicine) with PGDFIT/DMRIT and RSO Level-II certification, or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• IT-Programmer: B.E./B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) or BCA with 2 years' .Net/SQL programming experience
• Radiation Oncology: B.Sc. (Physics) + PG Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology (AERB-approved), or B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technology, with 1-3 years' experience

Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holders and foreign nationals who meet the qualification and experience criteria can apply.

Age Limit

• Age limits vary by post from 30 years (Scientific Assistant posts) to 50 years (Medical Officer - Radiodiagnosis), reckoned as on 1 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, PwBD candidates get 10 years (plus 5 more for SC/ST or 3 more for OBC), and Ex-servicemen get their length of service plus 3 years.
• TMC employees working on a temporary, project or contract basis get up to 5 years' age relaxation.

Salary

• Salaries range from Rs. 35,400 per month (Level 6, Scientific Assistant) to Rs. 1,23,100 per month (Level 13, Medical Officer - Radiodiagnosis) under the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per TMC rules, plus retirement benefits, medical facility, and residential accommodation (subject to availability).

Selection Process

Selection is different depending on which post you apply for:

1. Interview: For Sr. No. 1 to 8 (Medical Officer, Medical Physicist, Scientific Officer, and Officer-in-Charge posts), selection is through interview only - there is no written exam.
2. Written Examination + Interview: For Sr. No. 9 to 11 (Scientific Assistant posts), you will first take a 100-mark MCQ written exam based on your area of specialization, followed by an interview.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must carry original certificates (education, experience, caste, disability, etc.) for verification.
