Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited (TANFINET), a Government of Tamil Nadu Undertaking and State Implementing Agency (SIA) for the BharatNet Phase-II Project, has released Employment Notification No. 54/TANFINET/2026 dated 20.05.2026. The recruitment is purely on contract basis for 24 months (extendable by 12 months based on performance). There is no application fee. Selection is through personal interview only — no written exam.

• Manager (Network Planning): 1 post — Salary up to Rs. 1,00,000/month
• Manager (NOC): 1 post — Salary up to Rs. 1,00,000/month

Posting will be at TANFINET headquarters in Chennai (P.T. Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker Building, Chennai-02).

Who Can Apply?

Manager (Network Planning)

• Education: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in ECE or Electrical from a recognised university
• Experience: Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in managing one of the ISP networks
• Age: 25 to 50 years

Manager (NOC)

• Education: B.E / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in Telecom / OFC / Network Infrastructure Domain
• Age: 26 to 50 years

Manager (HR)

• Education: MBA in Human Resource (HR)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in HR Management across multiple disciplines
• Age: 26 to 40 years

Age, qualification and experience are reckoned as on 20.05.2026 (notification date). Only Indian Nationals can apply.

Age Limit

• Manager (Network Planning): 25 to 50 years
• Manager (NOC): 26 to 50 years
• Manager (HR): 26 to 40 years
• SC / SC(Arunthathiyars) / ST: 5 years relaxation
• MBC / DNC / BC / BC(Muslim): 2 years relaxation
• Differently Abled Persons: Up to 10 years relaxation
• Age cut-off date: 20 May 2026

Salary

• Consolidated pay: Up to Rs. 1,00,000 per month for all three Manager posts
• Contract period: 24 months initially, extendable by 12 months based on performance
• No TA / DA paid for interview

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Shortlisting: Applications shortlisted based on eligibility criteria from the online submissions.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates judged on knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness.
3. Document Verification: At the time of interview (self-attested copies + originals).

TANFINET Corporation's decision on selection is final. Mere meeting eligibility does not entitle a candidate to interview.

• Plan and implement TANFINET network architecture (Fiber, DWDM, IMS, IPTV, IP/MPLS, GPON, NOC)
• Manage Network Operations Centre including Data Centre and Disaster Recovery centres
• Coordinate with BSS, Middleware, MSI/SI and BBNL teams for network rollouts and integrations
• Prepare HLD / LLD solution documents, Bill of Material and CAPEX forecasts
• Ensure SLA compliance, vendor governance and timely O&M for all regions
• Handle HR functions — personnel administration, recruitment, grievance redressal, RTI and CM Cell
• Manage HR policy formulation, manpower planning and HR budget preparation
• Coordinate board meetings, regulatory compliance and statutory licensing (BOCW, Contract RC)
