Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner needs guest faculty at its College of Horticulture (COH), Durgapura, Jaipur. The college wants teachers for two courses of the B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture programme: physical education with yoga, and introductory mathematics. This is a purely contractual, per-class engagement for one semester, not a regular university post.

The Dean's office is filling these slots through a walk-in interview, so there is no online form. Both outsourced faculty and retired teachers can come forward, which makes this a good fit if you already teach part-time or have recently retired and want a short teaching assignment in Jaipur.

Posts and Disciplines

• Physical Education, First Aid, Yoga Practice and Meditation (PEYP-211): a course that mixes classroom theory with hands-on sessions, so you should be comfortable leading practical yoga, first aid and meditation classes.
• Introductory Mathematics (MATHS-111): a foundation course for horticulture undergraduates; you will need a post-graduate degree in the concerned subject.

Pay is per class, per course, per batch, with a higher rate for practical classes than for theory classes and a cap on what one credit hour can earn. The exact rates sit in the salary section above.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: you are engaged for one semester only — Semester I of session 2026-27.
• No regular appointment: being selected gives you no claim to a regular post if the university advertises one later.
• Performance clause: if your work is found unsatisfactory, the contract can be withdrawn without prior notice.
• Preference: candidates holding NET or a Ph.D. get preference for the outsourced faculty slots.
• Retired teachers: you must submit your Pension Payment Order (PPO).
• Travel costs: no TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

• Teach your assigned course to B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture students at COH Durgapura
• Take theory classes for each batch allotted to you
• Conduct practical classes for the course where the timetable includes them
• Lead yoga practice, meditation and first aid sessions for the PEYP-211 course
• Teach introductory mathematics for the MATHS-111 course
• Complete the course within Semester I of session 2026-27
