State Health Society Bihar, under the National Health Mission (NHM), has released Advertisement No. 02/2026 for Walk-In Recruitment to 5 contractual Medical Officer (Dental) posts under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) for District Early Intervention Centres (DEIC). The selected candidates will work in DEICs and provide oral health screening and intervention services for children under the RBSK programme. This is an Indian citizen-only recruitment with reservation as per Bihar State norms (UR/EWS/SC/ST/EBC/BC/WBC).

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) from a university duly recognised by the Dental Council of India (from a Government recognised Hospital/Institute).
• Registration: You must be registered with the Bihar Dental Council or the National Dental Commission / Dental Council of India.
• Citizenship: Indian citizens only.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years as on 01-08-2025.
• Maximum age (Unreserved/EWS, Male): 37 years
• Maximum age (BC/EBC, Male and Female): 40 years
• Maximum age (Unreserved/EWS, Female): 40 years
• Maximum age (SC/ST, Male and Female): 42 years
• Age Relaxation for PwD (Divyang): 10 years extra as per Bihar Govt. Sankalp No. 62 dated 05.01.2007.
• Departmental Employees: 5 years extra, provided the minimum eligibility is met.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 45,000 per month.
• This is a fixed contractual salary under the National Health Mission norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

• Conduct dental and oral health screening of children under the RBSK programme

• Coordinate with RBSK mobile health teams and District health officials
• Educate parents, teachers and Anganwadi workers about oral hygiene for children
• Submit monthly reports on dental services delivered under the RBSK programme
