The Shivamogga District Court has released Advertisement No. ADM.DJS.16341/2026 dated 20 July 2026 to fill 6 Process Server posts across its various courts through direct recruitment. There is no written exam — selection is based on your SSLC marks and a short interview. Candidates holding a valid driving license get preference for this post. Vacancies are reserved as follows:

  • Language: You must be able to read and write Kannada.
  • Preference: Candidates who hold a valid driving license will be given preference, since the role involves regularly travelling to deliver court documents.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in these stages:

  1. Shortlisting: Based on your SSLC (10th) percentage marks, candidates are shortlisted in a 1:10 ratio — 10 candidates per vacancy.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates appear for an interview worth 10 marks that checks your ability to read and write Kannada and your general knowledge.
  3. Document Verification: You must bring your original educational, birth, caste, and reservation certificates for verification.

Final selection is based on the marks you score in the interview, following the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977 and the Karnataka Subordinate Courts (Recruitment) Rules, 1982/2021. Selected candidates serve a 2-year probation period as per Karnataka Service Rules. The final recruitment order for this notification is subject to the outcome of pending writ petitions (W.P.
