• Experience: You must be retired from the rank of Vice Admiral or Rear Admiral from the Indian Navy.
• Age: Maximum age is 62 years as on 31 May 2026.

Advisor (Central Armed Police Force)

• Qualification: Educational qualification is not applicable for this post.
• Experience: You must be retired in the rank of Director General (DG) with minimum 3 years experience in CAPF.
• Age: Maximum age is 62 years as on 31 May 2026.

Circle Defence Banking Advisor

• Qualification: Educational qualification is not applicable for this post.
• Experience: You must be retired from the rank of Major General or Brigadier.
• Age: Maximum age is 60 years as on 31 May 2026.

Age Limit

• Defence Banking Advisor (Navy): Maximum 62 years as on 31 May 2026.
• Advisor (CAPF): Maximum 62 years as on 31 May 2026.
• Circle Defence Banking Advisor: Maximum 60 years as on 31 May 2026.
• Reserved category relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit will apply as per Government of India rules wherever applicable.
• Contract renewal limit: Renewal may be considered within the outer age limit mentioned in the notification.

Salary

• Defence Banking Advisor (Navy): Annual CTC of Rs. 37.95 lakh, including fixed pay of Rs. 34.50 lakh and variable pay of Rs. 3.45 lakh.
• Advisor (CAPF): Annual CTC of Rs. 37.95 lakh, including fixed pay of Rs. 34.50 lakh and variable pay of Rs. 3.45 lakh.
• Circle Defence Banking Advisor: Annual CTC of Rs. 26.95 lakh, including fixed pay of Rs. 24.50 lakh and variable pay of Rs. 2.45 lakh.
• Monthly equivalent: The annual CTC works out to about Rs. 2.25 lakh to Rs. 3.16 lakh per month before applying the variable-pay conditions.
• Other perk: Mobile calling bill as per entitlement. No increment from the second year is mentioned.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

SBI will select candidates through shortlisting and interview. The notice does not mention any written examination.
