Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: As per UGC Guidelines, 2018 for Assistant Professor in Home Science.
• Preferred: Candidates with Ph.D in Home Science or Master's degree with UGC NET/JRF/SLET.
• If NET/Ph.D candidates are not available: Candidates with a Post-Graduate degree in Home Science with a good academic record will be considered.
• Candidates should bring a detailed CV and originals of all certificates from HSC (10th) onwards.

Salary (Honorarium)

• Assistant Professor with Ph.D (for PG courses): Rs. 1,000 per class, maximum 60 classes per month — up to Rs. 60,000 per month
• Assistant Professor without Ph.D (for PG/UG, preference to NET-qualified): Rs. 750 per class, maximum 60 classes per month — up to Rs. 45,000 per month
• If you take more than 40 classes in a month, you must also handle administrative work assigned by the University from the next month
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Document Verification: Report at the venue at 9:30 AM onwards on 10 June 2026 with originals and one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates from HSC onwards.
2. Walk-In Interview: The Selection Committee will interview eligible candidates. Decision of the Committee is final.

Candidates are advised to report at least one hour before the scheduled interview for verification of documents.
