Who Can Apply?
For Psycho-Social Counsellor (Rs. 25,780/month):
- You need a professional degree or diploma in psychology, psychiatry or neuroscience with a health-sector background.
- Preference is given to candidates with at least 3 years' experience in a government or non-government health project at district level.
For Para Legal Personnel / Lawyer (Rs. 18,420/month):
- You need a degree in Law with legal training or knowledge of laws, plus 3 years' experience in a government or non-government women-related project at district level.
- OR you can be a practicing lawyer with at least 2 years' litigation experience in any court of law.
For Para Medical Personnel (Rs. 18,420/month):
- You need a professional degree or diploma in paramedics with a health-sector background, preferably with 3 years' experience in a government or non-government health project at district level.
For Office Assistant with Computer Knowledge (Rs. 18,420/month):
- You need to be a graduate with at least a diploma in computers/IT.
- You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in data management, documentation, web-based reporting and video conferencing at state or district level.
For Security Guard / Night Guard (Rs. 11,360/month):
- You should have passed 8th standard from a recognized board.
- You need at least 2 years' experience as security personnel in a government or reputed organization.
- Retired military or para-military personnel are preferred.
Age Limit
- You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 01 January 2026.
- Age Relaxation: As per Chhattisgarh government rules for reserved categories, but the maximum age after all relaxations cannot exceed 45 years.
Salary
- Psycho-Social Counsellor: Rs. 25,780 per month (consolidated, no other allowances).
- Para Legal Personnel/Lawyer, Para Medical Personnel, Office Assistant: Rs. 18,420 per month each (consolidated).
- Security Guard/Night Guard: Rs. 11,360 per month (consolidated).
- This is a fixed, one-time monthly service fee — no DA, HRA or other allowances are payable apart from maternity leave benefits.
Selection Process
Selection is done through a merit-cum-skill-test process worth 100 marks total:
- Application Screening: Your application is checked against the eligibility criteria for the post you applied for.
- Merit List (80 marks): Up to 60 marks for your academic qualification percentage, up to 10 marks for additional experience beyond the minimum (2 marks per year), and up to 10 marks bonus for prior experience with a Women's Helpline or Sakhi Centre.
- Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted for the skill test in a ratio of 1:5 or 1:10 per post from the merit list.
- Skill Test (20 marks): Tests your practical knowledge relevant to the post, including local language ability.
- Document Verification: You must bring original and self-attested copies of all certificates.
- Police Verification: A mandatory background check is done before you can join, since this is sensitive work involving survivors.
- Medical Fitness Test: Selected candidates must clear a health check within 1 month of selection.
No travel allowance is paid to candidates attending the skill test.

Responsibilities
- Provide counselling, legal aid, medical help or security support to women in distress at the Sakhi One Stop Centre based on your assigned post
- Maintain strict confidentiality of case data and personal details of survivors
- Coordinate with police, health department and legal aid authorities for referral cases
- Keep accurate records and documentation of daily cases handled at the centre
- Support the centre's round-the-clock operations, including night and holiday shifts where required
- Assist in preparing reports and case files for submission to the District Collector's office
- Follow the Chhattisgarh Civil Service Conduct Rules, 1965 at all times
