Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) — Bokaro Steel Plant is hiring 1 Quality Manager (Aviation Wing) on a 3-year contract basis. Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bokaro Steel Plant has issued Advertisement No. BSL/R-C/2026-03 dated 28.04.2026 for the engagement of one Quality Manager in its Aviation Wing on contract basis. The position is for 3 years initially, extendable at the discretion of the company. Selection is through Walk-in Interview only — no written exam. The role is to function as Quality Manager in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (any one):

• A full-time Engineering Degree (B.E. / B.Tech / B.S.) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Avionic stream from a UGC/AICTE-recognised university or institute, OR
• A Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from a DGCA-approved organisation

Essential Work Experience (any one):

• 2 years of post-qualification experience as Quality Manager (QM) or Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) in any organisation approved for CAR-145 / Sub-Part-G activities, OR
• 10 years of total experience in the Aeronautical/Aviation industry, of which at least 5 years in CAMO of a CAR-145 / Sub-Part-G approved organisation

Other conditions:

• You must be an Indian national.
• You must be medically fit to perform the duties.
• If working in a Government / PSU / Autonomous body, you must bring an NOC from your present employer.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 55 years as on the date of advertisement (28 April 2026).
• The candidate to be engaged must be medically fit to perform the duties.

Salary

• The compensation package is negotiable based on qualification and experience.
• Other Benefits:
  • Rent-free Company accommodation (2 BHK or equivalent), if desired and subject to availability — electricity and water charges as applicable. No HRA admissible.
  • Post-paid SIM under CUG with monthly ceiling of Rs. 500/-
  • Medical facility for self, spouse and dependent children at SAIL hospital, Bokaro Steel Plant
  • Up to 30 days of leave per year

Selection Process

The selection is through Walk-in Interview only:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend on the scheduled date with all required documents.
2. Medical Screening: Selected candidates undergo medical screening before engagement.
3. Document Verification: All certificates verified at the venue. Any candidate failing to produce originals will not be allowed to appear.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in Interview.
