Rajasthan Police Young Professional Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts
The Office of the Director General of Police, Rajasthan has issued Notification No. 3672 for the engagement of 5 Young Professionals across five specialised domains: Crime Data Analysis, Monitoring of Naveen Nyay Samhitas, Road Safety, Drug Control, and AI in Policing. All positions are for a fixed one-year contract, giving young professionals hands-on exposure to policy formulation, data analysis, and monitoring, and helping them develop a deep understanding of policing and governance frameworks. Selected candidates will work closely with senior officers at Police Headquarters, Jaipur, and contribute directly to evidence-based policing initiatives across the state.

Who Can Apply?
For Crime Data Analyst:
- Role: Analyse state-wide crime data with a primary focus on crimes against women and children, identify patterns, and prepare reports to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic policy formulation.
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, or a professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Data Analytics
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Big Data Analytics or related fields
For Monitoring of Naveen Nyay Samhitas:
- Role: Monitor district-wise implementation of the Naveen Nyay Samhitas (BNS, BNSS, and BSA) across the state, build compliance dashboards, and identify gaps for senior management.
- Qualification: Preferably LL.M., or B.A. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B. (or an equivalent integrated 5-year law programme)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience with a registered law firm handling criminal matters
For Road Safety Data Analyst:
- Role: Analyse road accident data to identify black spots and high-risk corridors, and support the planning of road safety campaigns and enforcement drives.
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, or M.Sc./PG Diploma in Management, or a professional degree in Data Analytics (preference for candidates with a Highway Engineering background)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Data Analytics or related fields
For Drug Control Data Analyst:
- Role: Analyse narcotics-related data to identify trafficking routes and networks, and support enforcement strategy and de-addiction initiatives.
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, or M.Sc./PG Diploma in Management, or a professional degree in Data Analytics
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Data Analytics or related fields
For AI in Policing:
- Role: Evaluate and pilot Artificial Intelligence tools for predictive policing, video analytics, and digital investigations, and help build AI-enabled dashboards for police units.
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, or a professional degree in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in AI or related fields
Age Limit
- You should be below 32 years of age as on the last date of receipt of application.
Salary
- All 5 posts carry a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 45,000 per month.
- No other benefits such as Medical Reimbursement, HRA, or Transport Allowance are paid apart from this consolidated amount.
- You get leave at the rate of 1.5 days per completed month on a pro-rata basis, with no accumulation.
Selection Process
Appointment to these posts is made on a contractual basis in accordance with the RTPP Rules and Rajasthan Police policies. Selection involves a suitability assessment comprising:
- Written Test
- Practical Test
- Interview
No TA/DA is paid for attending the written test, practical test, or interview. The exact exam pattern and schedule will be shared with shortlisted candidates by Rajasthan Police.
Terms of Engagement: Selected candidates work full-time on a contractual basis for a fixed one-year period at Police Headquarters, Jaipur, under the guidance of Rajasthan Police officers, and cannot take up any other assignment during this period. You'll need to sign a Declaration of Fidelity and Secrecy, and on completing your tenure, you must return all materials, files, data, and passwords to the department. Either side can end the engagement by giving 10 days' notice.

- Analyse trends, patterns, and hotspots to identify risk areas and generate actionable insights
- Prepare monthly and quarterly analytical reports and dashboards for senior management
- Support evidence-based decision-making and strategic policy formulation
- Coordinate with district, state, and departmental stakeholders for data quality and reporting
- Assist in drafting SOPs, circulars, and training material relevant to your domain area
- Maintain confidentiality of all data and information handled during the engagement
