Karnataka State Police (KSP) Special Reserve Police Constable (KSRP) Recruitment 2026 - 1455 Posts
The Directorate General of Police, Karnataka has released Advertisement No. 03/Recruitment-3(B)/2026-27 for 1,455 Special Reserve Police Constable (KSRP) posts open to both male (1,382) and female (73) candidates. This is one of the biggest KSP constable recruitment drives in recent years, conducted entirely through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) portal. No written pre-requisite beyond 12th pass is needed, making it accessible to a wide pool of candidates across the state.
The KSRP is Karnataka's armed reserve police force, deployed for law and order duty during festivals, elections, protests and natural disasters, and for guarding important installations and VIPs across the state. Unlike the Kalyana Karnataka reservation drive, this recruitment is open to eligible candidates from anywhere in Karnataka. Joining KSRP gives you a permanent, pensionable government job with defined promotion avenues over your career.
