The Office of the District Programme Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Raipur has released this notice for contractual hiring under Mission Vatsalya. The work is connected with child protection, child welfare committees, and government child care homes in Raipur district. The appointment is temporary and contractual, first for up to 3 years or the scheme period, whichever is earlier.

Who Can Apply?

Legal cum Probation Officer

• Qualification: LLB from a recognised university.
• Experience: At least 2 years of work with women and child rights, government or NGO work, or legal matters.
• Skills: MS Office, computer work, and web-based software knowledge are required.

Assistant cum Computer Operator and Outreach Worker

• Assistant cum Computer Operator: 12th pass with one-year computer diploma or certificate from a recognised board or equivalent board.
• Typing skill: Hindi and English typing speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour is required for the Assistant cum Computer Operator post.
• Outreach Worker: 12th pass with good communication skills and preferably 1 year of experience in women and child welfare work.

Child Care and Counseling Posts

• Child Welfare Officer / Case Worker: Graduation in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Law, or Social Science with computer skills and 2 years relevant experience.
• Counselor: Graduation in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health or Counselling, with PG Diploma in Counselling and Communication.
• House Mother: Graduation in Sociology, Psychology, Social Science, Law, or equivalent social subjects, with computer skills and relevant child care experience.
• Paramedical Staff: ANM / MPW or government-recognised nursing training certificate, with 2 years experience as paramedical staff in a hospital.

For posts in the Government Girls' Home, only female candidates will be accepted.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 21 years and not more than 35 years as on 1 January 2026.
• Age relaxation will apply as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.
• After adding all relaxations, the maximum age cannot be more than 45 years.

Salary

• Highest monthly salary: Rs. 27,804 for Legal cum Probation Officer.
• Child Welfare Officer / Case Worker and Counselor: Rs. 23,170 per month.
• House Mother: Rs. 14,564 per month.
• Assistant cum Computer Operator and Paramedical Staff: Rs. 11,916 per month.
• Outreach Worker: Rs. 10,592 per month.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on merit, interview, and skill test wherever applicable.

1. Application Screening: Only applications that meet the required qualification, experience, age, domicile, and document conditions will move forward.
2. Merit Score: Marks from the minimum educational qualification will carry 70% weightage.
3. Experience Marks: Extra experience after the minimum required period will get 2 marks per year, up to 10 marks.
4. Interview / Skill Test: A total of 20 marks is kept for interview or skill test. Where both apply, skill test carries 10 marks and interview carries 10 marks.
5. Shortlisting: Candidates may be called in a 1:10 ratio for interview or skill test.
6. Document Verification: Original certificates must be shown during verification.
