The Office of the Child Development Project Officer, POSHAN Project Pulwama has released Advertisement Notice No. 03 of 2026 for Sahayika posts and Advertisement Notice No. 04 of 2026 for Sangini posts. These are honorarium basis Anganwadi engagements for specific Panchayat or Municipal wards in Pulwama. Vacancy Details

• Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper): 11 posts in Rakh-Litter, Chakoora, Wahibugh, Urchersoo, Panjran, Putrigam-B, Mitrigam, Tiken and Tengpona areas.
• Sangini (Anganwadi Worker): 1 post at Washbugh-D, Ward-11.
• Total: 12 notified Anganwadi posts.

Who Can Apply?

For Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper)

• Qualification: You should have passed Matriculation (10th Class). If no matriculate candidate is available in the ward, an 8th pass candidate may be considered.
• Marital status: Married women are preferred. If no married candidate is available, an unmarried candidate may be considered.
• Residence: You must be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.

For Sangini (Anganwadi Worker)

• Qualification: You should have passed 10+2. The maximum qualification allowed is Graduation.
• Residence: You must be from the electoral ward where the vacancy has come up.
• Extra weightage: A candidate from the family of a retiring AWW/AWH can get 2 percent additional points, as stated in the notice.

Common Conditions

• Domicile: You must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
• Ward proof: Ward residence certificate or voter-list based proof is needed as per the notice.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 37 years old.
• The application form asks for age as on 01 January 2026.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on local eligibility and merit, not a written exam.

1. Ward-level eligibility check: The committee will check whether you belong to the notified ward and meet domicile, age and qualification rules.
2. Academic merit: Sahayika selection is based on the marks rule in Government Order No. 103-JK(SWD) of 2023. Sangini selection is based on 10+2 marks.
