Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for the recruitment of 413 Group D posts. These posts include Sewadar, Chowkidar, Sweeper, Safai Sewak, Mali, Fisherman, Boatman, and Laboratory Attendant in various departments of the Punjab Government. Qualification

You need to have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized education board. Punjabi language must be one of your subjects at Matriculation level.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum: 18 years | Maximum: 37 years
• SC/BC of Punjab: 42 years
• Widow/Divorcee: 40 years
• PwD: 47 years

Salary

Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 per month (Level-1, 7th CPC) + DA, HRA, Medical Allowance. NPS applicable.

• Carry out daily duties assigned by the department such as cleaning, guarding, or maintenance work
• Keep the office, building, or campus area clean and well-maintained (for Sweeper/Safai Sewak/Mali posts)
• Guard the premises and report any unusual activity to senior officers (for Chowkidar posts)
• Help with office errands, moving files, and other support tasks (for Sewadar posts)
• Look after fish ponds, hatcheries, and related fisheries work (for Fisherman posts)
• Operate and maintain boats for river crossing duties (for Boatman posts)
• Assist in laboratory setup, cleaning, and handling of equipment (for Laboratory Attendant posts)
• Follow all government rules and attend duty on time as per the roster
