The Office of the District Women & Child Welfare & Empowerment Officer, Narasaraopet of Palnadu District, under the Government of Andhra Pradesh's Women Development and Child Welfare Department, has released notification Rc.No.280/A1/2023 dated 08 May 2026 for the post of District Project Assistant. The position is purely on contract basis and is co-terminus with the Poshan Abhiyaan scheme. Only local candidates of Palnadu District will be engaged for this post.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must hold a Graduate Degree OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Social Sciences, or Nutrition.
• You should also have IT skills (computer knowledge).

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in capacity building, with supervisory skills.

Other Requirements

• Good oral and written communication skills in the local language (Telugu) and fair skills in English.
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to travel extensively.
• Mandatorily local candidates of Palnadu District should be engaged.

Age Limit

• You should be between 25 and 42 years of age.
• Age relaxation is provided as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh rules in force (typically 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for BC).

Selection Process

The selection will be done in two stages:

1. Shortlisting: Only qualified shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stage based on the documents and experience submitted.
2. Interview: Top listed candidates from the interview will be considered for final selection.

• Assist in implementation of Poshan Abhiyaan scheme activities across Palnadu District

• Monitor scheme progress and prepare district-level reports
• Coordinate with district officials and field functionaries for smooth project delivery
• Travel extensively across blocks and villages of Palnadu District for field supervision
• Maintain proper documentation, beneficiary records, and project data in IT systems
• Communicate effectively in Telugu with local communities and stakeholders
