If you have an M.Tech, B.Tech, M.Sc or Ph.D in Geology, Geophysics, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology or Biotechnology, you can apply by email. The last date to apply is 25 May 2026 (5:30 PM). The total CTC goes up to Rs. 11.88 lakh per year, with an extra Rs. 10,000/month incentive for Ph.D holders.

ONGC Energy Centre Project Associate Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Energy Centre Trust has released a notification for 5 vacant positions in three of its variant projects. The advertisement number is OEC/RECRUITMENT/SPF, JPA & PA/2026. This is a fixed-tenure assignment, initially for one or two years, extendable up to a maximum of four years based on performance. Both freshers and experienced engineering or science graduates from reputed institutes can apply.

Who Can Apply?

Junior Project Associate (Geologist) - Uranium Project

• Required: M.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Geology/Geophysics/Geosciences or related fields plus 2 years experience in energy domain or radioactive minerals/hydrocarbons exploration
• OR: B.Tech/M.Sc with minimum 60% marks in the same fields plus 4 years experience
• Desirable: Ph.D in Geology/Geophysics/Geosciences or field experience with core analysis knowledge

Senior Project Fellow (Geologist) - Uranium Project

• Required: M.Sc Geology or M.Sc/M.Tech in Applied Geology/Earth Sciences/Mineral Exploration/Petroleum Geosciences with minimum 60% marks plus 2 years experience in mineral/hydrocarbon exploration or lab analysis of cores
• OR: Two years field experience in geological analysis or geological lab analysis
• Other: Knowledge of basic computer skills and software for daily office use

Project Associate - Biotechnology Project (Delhi)

• Required: M.Tech with specialisation relevant to energy field plus 4 years experience in Bioenergy domain
• OR: B.Tech/M.Sc in Microbiology or Biotechnology plus 6 years experience in Bioenergy
• Preferred: Experience in bio-chemical processes in coal/oil/gas, patent applications, or oil & gas field bioprocesses

Junior Project Associate - Geothermal Project (Delhi/Leh)

• Required: M.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical Engineering or related domain plus 2 years experience in geothermal exploration and field supervision
• OR: B.Tech/M.Sc with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical Engineering plus 4 years experience in energy domain

Salary

• Junior Project Associate (Geologist) - Uranium: Rs. 9.9 lakh per annum CTC
• Senior Project Fellow (Geologist) - Uranium: Rs. 7.58 lakh per annum CTC
• Project Associate - Biotechnology: Rs. 11.88 lakh per annum CTC
• Junior Project Associate - Geothermal: Rs. 9.9 lakh per annum CTC
• Ph.D candidates get an extra Rs. 10,000 per month incentive

Selection Process

The selection will be done in two stages:

1. Screening of Application Formats: Applications are screened based on qualification, experience and other criteria
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview

Successful candidates must join duty within 30 days of receiving the engagement letter, failing which the offer may be withdrawn.
