Ordnance Factory Khamaria (OFK) Danger Building Worker Recruitment 2026 — 350 Posts

Ordnance Factory Khamaria (OFK), a unit of Munitions India Limited under the Ministry of Defence, has invited offline applications for 350 Tenure Based Danger Building Worker (DBW) posts on contract basis. This is the 6th Batch of DBW recruitment at OFK (Advt No. 03/GA/RC/Tenure/DBW/06/2026). The engagement is initially for one year, extendable up to a maximum of four years based on factory requirement and your performance. If you hold an NCVT NAC certificate in AOCP or related feeder trades, this is a good opportunity to work in a defence manufacturing unit.

Vacancy Breakdown

All 350 posts are for the single post of Tenure Based Danger Building Worker (DBW) at Skilled level.

Category-wise Breakdown:

• Unreserved (UR): 141 posts
• ST: 70 posts
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 52 posts
• SC: 52 posts
• EWS: 35 posts
• Ex-Serviceman: 35 posts (Horizontal reservation)

Note: PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) candidates are not eligible for this post. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on OFK's requirement.

Who Can Apply?

• Certification: You must have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT (earlier known as NCTVT).
• Trade: AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) is the primary trade.
• Feeder Trades Also Accepted: If you hold NAC in any of these trades, you can also apply — Instrument Mechanic Chemical Plant (IMCP), Mechanical Maintenance Chemical Plant (MMCP), Laboratory Assistance Chemical Plant (LACP), Process Plant Operator (PPO), Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
• Nationality: Indian citizens only.

Note: Feeder trade candidates selected as DBW will need to submit a consent/undertaking in the prescribed format (Appendix-I).

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old as on the closing date of receipt of application.
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation (for posts reserved for SC/ST)
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation (for posts reserved for OBC)
• Ex-Serviceman: Period of Military Service + 3 years

PwBD candidates are not eligible for this post.

Salary

• Basic Pay: Rs. 19,900 per month
• Dearness Allowance (DA): Central DA as prevalent will be applicable
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): As per classification of cities (when Company Quarter is not available)
• Night Duty Allowance: Applicable if deployed in night shift
• Risk Allowance: Applicable for work involving risk, at par with regular employees
• Annual Increment: 3% on Basic Pay (rounded off to next ten rupees), subject to satisfactory performance
• EPF: Covered under Employees' Compensation Act, 1923
• Leave: 30 days per year (2.5 days per month of service)

Application Fee

• No application fee for any category.
• SC/ST candidates called for Trade Test will get second class train fare (shortest route) on producing Govt Bus/Train ticket and Caste/Community Certificate.

Selection Process

Selection is based on merit in NCVT (NAC) marks and Trade Test/Practical Test:

1. NCVT (NAC) Exam Marks (80% weightage): Your marks in the National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by NCVT will carry 80% weightage in the final merit.
2. Trade Test / Practical Test (20% weightage): A practical trade test will be conducted at Ordnance Factory Khamaria. This carries 20% of total marks.
3. Document Verification: Candidates qualifying in the combined merit (NCVT + Trade Test) will be called for document verification, limited to the number of notified posts per discipline/category.

Preference Order in Merit List:

1. AOCP Trade apprentices of Ordnance Factories and AOCP Trade apprentices from Govt/Private organizations with Government affiliation
2. Feeder trade candidates with DBW/CPW experience + 3 months training certificate from any MIL group factory
3. Feeder trade apprentices from Ordnance Factories/Govt/Private organizations with Government affiliation but without 3 months training certificate

Cut-off percentage for calling candidates to Trade Test will be decided by OFK based on NCVT (NAC) marks. Call letters/Admit Cards will be sent by email.

2. Fill in the application form in BLOCK LETTERS only.
3. Paste a recent passport-size photograph (self-attested) on the form.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents (educational certificates, NAC, caste certificate, experience certificate, etc.).
5. Write on the envelope: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TENURE BASED DBW PERSONNEL ON CONTRACT BASIS".
6. Send the application with all enclosures and two extra photographs by post to:
