Who Can Apply?

For PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)

• Education: Post-Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate marks in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
• Professional: B.Ed from an NCTE recognised institution with minimum 50% marks.
• CTET/TET: Not mandatory for adhoc appointment, but preferred. Must be cleared before regular appointment.
• OST: Online Screening Test score is preferred but not mandatory for interview.

For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)

• Education: Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate marks (or 50% in Post-Graduation if graduation marks are below 50%) in the relevant subject.
• Professional: B.Ed from an NCTE recognised institution with minimum 50% marks.
• CTET/TET: Mandatory at the time of appointment. Must be cleared before joining.

For PRT (Primary Teacher)

• Education: Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
• Professional: B.El.Ed or 2-year D.El.Ed from an NCTE recognised institution with minimum 50% marks.
• CTET/TET: Mandatory at the time of appointment. OST score is preferred.

For Administrative Staff

• Head Clerk: Minimum Graduate (civilian); Ex-Serviceman (clerk category) preferred. 5-10 years experience in office management. Proficient in MS Office.
• Adm Supervisor: Ex-Serviceman preferred (up to 55 years). Clean service record required.
• UDC / Accounts Clerk: B.Com or 15 years clerk service (Ex-Servicemen). Computer literate (MS Office, Tally). 5 years experience in a reputed organisation preferred.
• LDC: Graduate or 10 years clerk service (Ex-Servicemen). Computer literate (12,000 key depressions/hour).
• Receptionist: Same as LDC, with good communication skills.
• Lady Nurse: 10+2 with Diploma in Nursing, minimum 5 years experience. Female candidates preferred.
• Asst Librarian: B.Lib.Sc or Graduate with Diploma in Library Science from a recognised institute, computer literate, minimum 3 years experience.
• Computer Lab Assistant: 10+2 with 1-year Diploma in Computer Science; knowledge of hardware, peripheral, and networking.

Other Requirements (All Posts)

• Proficiency in English is mandatory for all posts.
• Working knowledge of computers is mandatory for all posts.

Age Limit

Age is reckoned as on 01 April of the year of appointment.

• Below 40 years: No minimum teaching experience required.
• 40 to 55 years: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in the relevant category is required (cumulative for Army Spouses, within last 10 years for others).
• Head Clerk / Adm Supervisor: Up to 55 years (Ex-Serviceman preferred).
• No upper age limit specified for candidates below 40 years.

Application Fee

• All categories: Rs. 250/- per application
• Payment mode: Demand Draft (DD) only — in favour of Army Public School Shankar Vihar, payable at Delhi.
• A separate DD is required for each category you apply to (e.g., one DD for PGT, another for TGT).
• Applications without DD will not be accepted.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Applications will be reviewed based on qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
2. Interview: Tentatively scheduled in the first week of May 2026 at APS Shankar Vihar, Delhi Cantt. OST-qualified candidates will be given preference.
3. Document Verification: You must carry all original certificates and testimonials at the time of the interview.

Note: Passing the Online Screening Test (OST) is not mandatory for appearing in the interview. However, OST-qualified candidates will be preferred. The school management reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any applicant without assigning any reason.

3. Paste one recent passport-size colour photograph on the form. Attach one additional photograph for the call letter.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials.
5. Prepare a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Army Public School Shankar Vihar, payable at Delhi. Fill a separate form and DD for each category you apply to.
