The Office of the Principal, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Manipur, Harabhanga, Boudh (CBSE-affiliated, School Code 17206) has released Letter No. 177 dated 07.04.2026 inviting walk-in applications for empanelment of PGT and TGT teachers. These positions will fill leave and temporary vacancies across 3 OAVs in Boudh district for the academic session 2026-27. The engagement is for one academic year or until regular teachers join, whichever comes first.

Who Can Apply?

PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)

• Option 1: Two-year integrated Post-Graduate course with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the relevant subject
• Option 2: Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the relevant subject AND Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE-prescribed course at a recognized university

TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)

• Option 1: Four-year integrated Bachelor of Education degree from a regional college of NCERT with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the relevant subject
• Option 2: Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the relevant subject AND B.Ed from an NCTE-prescribed course at a recognized university

Note: Proficiency in teaching in both English and Odia medium is desirable. Knowledge of computer applications is also preferred. Candidates with special B.Ed or D.Ed are not eligible.

Special Provisions: If B.Ed holders are unavailable, PG candidates with 60% in Science / 55% in Humanities (for PGT) or B.Sc with 60% / B.A. with 55% (for TGT) may be considered. OTET/CTET relaxation is also possible if qualified candidates are not available.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 65 years
• Age as on: 01 April 2026

Salary

• PGT: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)
• TGT: Rs. 20,000/- per month (consolidated)

This is a consolidated amount. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in document verification.

Application Fee

Selection Process

1. Document Verification (Walk-in): You need to appear at OAV Manipur, Boudh on the scheduled date with all original documents and one set of xerox copies along with the filled application form
2. Merit-Based Panel: The panel of candidates will be prepared based on career marks as per the guideline. There will be no written exam and no interview
3. Placement: Based on actual vacancies, candidates will be called in serial order to join the OAV where vacancy exists
