Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) Bharuamunda, operating under the Ministry of School & Mass Education, Government of Odisha, is hiring support staff for its boys' hostel on a purely temporary and contractual basis. The hostel has 100 beds and needs a Warden, Head Cook, Assistant Cooks, and a Chowkidar. This is a local recruitment — only candidates from Belpada Block or Balangir District are eligible. Experience in hostel management, cooking, or security work will be given preference.

General Conditions:

• Domicile: You must be a resident of Belpada Block / Balangir District. Candidates from other districts are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Warden: 30 to 60 years as on 23 February 2026
• Head Cook: 30 to 40 years as on 23 February 2026
• Assistant Cook: 21 to 32 years as on 23 February 2026
• Chowkidar: 21 to 32 years as on 23 February 2026

Salary

• Warden: Rs. 21,175 per month
• Head Cook: Rs. 9,000 per month
• Assistant Cook: Rs. 6,750 per month
• Chowkidar: Rs. 7,500 per month

The pay includes EPF contribution from both employee and employer side.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit and interview:

1. Screening of Applications: All applications received by the last date will be screened for eligibility
2. Interview / Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. You must bring original certificates and documents at the time of interview

Note: There is no written exam for these posts. The authority reserves the right to cancel the engagement at any stage.

2. Fill in the application form completely.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents — educational qualification, age proof, residence certificate, and experience certificates.
4. Put everything in a sealed envelope and write "APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF SUPPORT STAFF FOR BOYS' HOSTEL, OAV BHARUAMUNDA" along with the post name on top.
5. Send the envelope through Speed Post / Registered Post or submit it by hand to the Principal's office.
