National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, has released two notifications (Advt No. 06A/26 and Advt No. 06B/26) for filling up 45 Executive posts. The recruitment covers 20 posts in Environment Management at E0 grade and 25 posts in Contracts & Materials Management at E2 grade. Selected candidates will be posted at NTPC stations, projects, regional headquarters, or corporate centre across India.

Who Can Apply?

For Executive (Environment) — E0 grade

• Qualification: You need a degree in Engineering / Science with specialisation in Environmental Science / Engineering or related field, as specified in the official notification.

For Executive (Contracts & Materials Management) — E2 grade

• Qualification: You need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology in any discipline, as specified in the official notification. Some posts may require post-qualification experience.

Salary

• Executive (Environment) — E0 grade: Pay scale Rs. 30,000 - 1,20,000 per month (as per NTPC IDA pay scales).
• Executive (Contracts & Materials) — E2 grade: Pay scale Rs. 50,000 - 1,60,000 per month (as per NTPC IDA pay scales).
• You will also get DA, HRA, perks under cafeteria approach, performance-related pay, medical benefits, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave encashment, and other allowances as per NTPC rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages, as per the detailed advertisement on careers.ntpc.co.in:

1. Online Application Screening: Shortlisting based on qualification, marks, and post-qualification experience.
2. Computer-Based Test / Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for written test and / or personal interview as decided by NTPC.
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must clear NTPC medical fitness standards.
4. Document Verification: Final offer is subject to verification of original certificates.

• Handle environment management activities at NTPC power stations and project sites
• Monitor air, water, and noise pollution and ensure compliance with CPCB and SPCB norms
• Manage contracts and materials procurement for power plant operations and projects
• Prepare tenders, evaluate bids, and finalise vendor contracts as per CVC guidelines
• Coordinate with project sites, regulatory bodies, and contractors for smooth operations
• Maintain records of environmental clearances, consent to operate, and statutory compliance
• Track inventory of spares, equipment, and consumables across NTPC sites
• Prepare reports for senior management and statutory authorities as required
