The Office of the District School Education Officer & District Project Coordinator (RMSA), North Garo Hills, Resubelpara has released an advertisement (No. DPC/RMSA/Avt/2025/) dated 28 April 2026 inviting applications from Indian citizens for the post of Assistant Teacher MIL (Garo) at Rajasimla RMSA Secondary School. The engagement is purely contractual for an initial period of 1 year. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject and a B.Ed qualification can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed or its equivalent.
• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
• Subject: You should have studied Garo as your Modern Indian Language (MIL).

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 32 years old.
• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates as per Meghalaya state norms.

Salary

• Selected candidates will receive a remuneration of Rs. 29,000 per month.
• The post is on a contract basis for an initial period of 1 year.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on:

1. Scrutiny and Screening: Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the interview. The shortlist will be displayed on the office notice board.
2. Interview: The date of interview will be notified through the notice board of the District School Education Officer & DPC (RMSA), North Garo Hills, Resubelpara and on WhatsApp.

No separate call letter will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Original certificates and documents must be produced at the time of interview.
