The State Rural Employment Society - District Implementing Division (SRES-DID), the nodal agency for implementation of MGNREGA, PMAY-G, IGSA, PMAAGY, PMAGY and other rural development schemes under the Community & Rural Development Department, Government of Meghalaya, has issued an advertisement (No. NGH/DRDA/Advt.17/Pt.II/493/2025-26) dated 21 April 2026. The recruitment is open only to permanent residents of Meghalaya and is on a purely contractual basis. The Data Entry Operator will be posted at SRES-DID, Resubelpara.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must be a Graduate with a One-Year Diploma in Basic Computer Application.
• Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of basic computer applications and data entry is mandatory.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a remuneration of Rs. 15,000 per month.
• The engagement is on a contractual basis.
• Place of Posting: SRES-DID, Resubelpara, North Garo Hills District.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Computer Typing Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a typing test to assess speed and accuracy.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates clearing the typing test will face a personal interview.

The date of the written/typing examination will be intimated to shortlisted candidates later. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the typing test or personal interview.

• Process file movement and update online portals for rural development schemes
• Handle email correspondence and maintain office records
• Coordinate with block-level staff for data collection and verification
