DLSA Jhabua Vehicle Driver Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jhabua, located in the District Court premises of Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, has invited applications for the post of Vehicle Driver under the grant of National Legal Services Authority. This is a contractual appointment for 2 years, extendable by 1 more year based on satisfactory performance, conduct, and continuity. Candidates with experience in vehicle mechanics will get preference in selection.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You must have passed 10th class from a recognised institution.
• Driving Licence: You must hold a valid driving licence (LMV / SMV / HTV / Commercial as applicable).
• Experience: You should have experience in driving vehicles.
• Preference: Candidates with vehicle mechanic experience will be given preference during selection.
• Domicile: You should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh (as per Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority Recruitment Rules 2009).

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years (as on 01-01-2026)
• No maximum age limit specified in the notification

Salary

• You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 12,000 per month.
• You are entitled to 13 days of casual leave in one calendar year.
• This is a contractual post for an initial period of 2 years, extendable by 1 more year. No claim for regular appointment or continuous service can be made after the contract period.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Eligible applications will be shortlisted by 16 June 2026.
2. Driving Test: Your ability to drive a vehicle, traffic rule knowledge, vehicle control, and safe driving will be evaluated.
3. Interview: Final selection will be based on marks scored in the interview and driving test combined with eligibility.

Note: There is no written exam for this post. Selection is purely based on driving test and interview.

• Drive the multipurpose vehicle assigned to the District Legal Services Authority for official duties
• Follow all traffic rules and ensure safe driving at all times
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean and running condition
• Carry out minor mechanical checks and report major issues to the office
• Keep proper records of fuel, log books, and vehicle movement
• Be available for duty as per the schedule given by the Authority, including outstation trips
• Follow all instructions from the Secretary and senior officers of the Authority
