About This Job

Apply for Clinical Research Coordinator at NIMS. MBBS/BDS graduates eligible. Salary: Rs 50,000. Last date: 10 Sep 2026.

NIMS Clinical Research Coordinator BCD Recruitment 2026: Overview

Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad is engaging a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Breast Cancer Detection Vertical in its Department of Radiodiagnosis. The coordinator will support an AI-assisted breast-cancer screening study and help different clinical departments work as one research team. This is a project-linked contract and not a regular institute appointment.

The role sits at the meeting point of patient-facing clinical work, research data and digital systems. You will move within the hospital for participant recruitment and specimen tracking, work with faculty and staff, and keep information flowing across departments. Fresh medical or dental graduates can apply, making this a useful entry point into structured clinical research.

The study needs careful handling of case report forms, informed consent and Good Clinical Practice principles. You should be comfortable sorting and cleaning data, entering it into study systems and using common office software. Prior exposure to clinical research or data management is helpful, while genuine interest in artificial-intelligence applications in healthcare adds value to the team.

Day-to-day success will depend on clear communication and dependable organisation. The coordinator works under faculty investigators and must balance participant contact, sample or specimen tracking, database updates and cross-department follow-up without losing accuracy. The appointment is based at the NIMS Punjagutta campus in Hyderabad.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Project tenure: The initial term is one year or until the project ends, whichever comes first; renewal depends on performance and continuation of the project.
  • Funding condition: The engagement is subject to formal approval and release of project funds.
  • Notice period: Either side must give one month's notice to discontinue the engagement or provide the equivalent salary in place of notice.
  • Leave: Project-staff leave follows the applicable ICMR guidelines.
  • Mobility: You must be willing to move between participating clinical departments within the hospital.
  • Interview costs: No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview.
