National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has released Advertisement No. NHQ-12/6/2026-NIELIT-3173104 for 21 contract positions at its Corporate Office in Dwarka, New Delhi. Who Can Apply?

Resource Person – International Cooperation

• B.E./B.Tech in any stream, or MBA
• At least 1 year experience in Coordination/Management, preferably in a Govt Organisation/Autonomous Body/PSU

Junior Resource Person – Legal

• LLB Degree from a recognised university
• No experience required (fresher can apply)

Junior Resource Person – Hardware Engineer

• Bachelor degree in Computer discipline, or NIELIT CHM O/A LEVEL / IT O/A LEVEL / CCNA / MCSE / A+ (CompTia) or equivalent
• No experience required

Senior Network Administrator

• B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT/Electronics) or M.E./M.Tech/M.S. (Computer Science/IT/Electronics) or MCA or M.Sc. (CS/IT/Electronics) or DOEACC 'B'/'C' Level or equivalent
• Valid Cisco CCNA Certification mandatory
• 2 years of relevant experience required

Senior Developer-1 and Senior Developer-2

• Qualification Type 1: B.E./B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in CS/IT/Electronics or MCA or NIELIT B Level or equivalent from AICTE/UGC recognised institute — 4 years experience required

Developer1 and Developer (Mid-Level)

System Administrator

Junior Developer

• Type 1: B.E./B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in CS/IT/Electronics or MCA or NIELIT B Level or equivalent — No experience required
• Type 2: B.Sc(CS/IT)/BCA/IT 'A' Level of NIELIT/PGDCA or equivalent — 1 year experience required

Junior Resource Person – Hindi

• Graduate with Hindi as a subject and English as a subject or medium of study; OR Graduate with English as a subject and Hindi as a subject or medium of study

AI Engineer

• B.E./B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in CS/IT/Electronics or MCA or NIELIT B Level or equivalent from AICTE/UGC recognised institute
• 4 years of experience in development of IT projects

Helpdesk Executive

• Graduate from a recognised university with working knowledge of computers (NIELIT O Level or 1 year computer course or equivalent)
• 3 years of relevant experience required

Driver

• 10th Standard (Matriculation) pass from a recognised Board
• Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence for government vehicles
• 10 years of professional driving experience, preferably in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies

Consultant-1

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Electronics & Communications, or M.Sc (IT) or M.Sc (Electronics) or MCA
• 10 years post-qualification experience in electronics/IT/telecom/business administration, ICT projects, project formulation, monitoring, techno-financial analysis, MIS, international trade, WTO matters
• Retired Government employees up to 62 years of age can apply

Junior Resource Person – Support

• Graduation in any stream with computer knowledge + Diploma in Computers/DCA/ADCA/CCC/BCC/ECC/CCCP
• 1 year post-qualification experience in conducting large/enterprise level online examinations, managing exam centre data and troubleshooting

Consultant-2

• Bachelor's Degree in Technology/Engineering or equivalent in CS/IT/Cyber Security/Electronics & Communications with at least 60% marks in aggregate, or MTech in the same fields with 60% marks, or MCA or NIELIT 'B' Level with 60% marks
• 5 years post-qualification experience in conducting large/enterprise level online examinations

• Resource Person (International Cooperation), Junior Developer, AI Engineer: Up to 30 years
• Junior Resource Person – Hardware Engineer, Developer1, Developer, System Administrator: Up to 32 years
• Senior Developer-1, Senior Developer-2: Up to 35 years
• Helpdesk Executive, Junior Resource Person – Support: Up to 35 years
• Consultant-2: Up to 40 years
• Senior Network Administrator: Up to 40 years
• Driver: Up to 55 years

Salary

• AI Engineer / Consultant-1: Rs. 90,000 per month
• Senior Developer-1 / Senior Developer-2: Rs. 80,000 per month
• Consultant-2: Rs. 70,000 per month (depending on qualification and experience)
• Developer1 / Developer: Rs. 60,000 per month
• Senior Network Administrator: Rs. 55,000 per month
• Resource Person (International Cooperation) / System Administrator: Rs. 50,000 per month
• Junior Developer: Rs. 40,000 per month
• Junior Resource Person – Hindi: Rs. 30,000–40,000 per month
• Junior Resource Person – Legal / Junior Resource Person – Support / Driver (minimum): Rs. 30,000 per month
• Driver (maximum): Rs. 33,000 per month
• Helpdesk Executive: Rs. 28,000 per month
• All salaries are consolidated (CTC). No additional benefits like Medical, HRA, or Transport allowance are provided beyond the consolidated pay.

Selection Process

1. Screening: Applications are screened based on documents submitted. Only candidates who clear screening are called for the next stage.
2. Document Verification: Candidates who clear screening report to NIELIT HQs (before 11:30 AM on the scheduled date). Originals must be brought.
3. Interview: Only candidates who clear document verification are called for interview. Selection is based on performance in the interview and eligibility as per prescribed criteria.
4. Skill Test (for Driver only): A separate driving skill test will be conducted to check driving ability and suitability.

Note: No TA/DA is paid to any candidate for appearing in interviews or document verification.

• Handle assigned technical or administrative duties as per the role (development, network administration, consulting, legal, support, etc.)

• Manage systems, software, hardware, or networks under your charge and keep them running smoothly
• Assist senior officers in project planning, execution, monitoring, and review activities
• Attend document verification sessions and interviews as scheduled by NIELIT HQ
• Follow all NIELIT rules, confidentiality norms, and security protocols during the contract period
