NCRTC Track Engineer Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a Joint Venture company of the Government of India and the participating State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Operating under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, NCRTC is responsible for implementing the Namo Bharat (Regional Rapid Transit System) project in the National Capital Region. This recruitment is for experienced civil engineers who will work on track design, construction, and maintenance for the RRTS corridors — Delhi-Meerut, Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar, and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal. If you have 8 to 13 years of experience in track or civil engineering, this is a strong opportunity.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (Both Posts)

• Qualification: You need a B.E. / B.Tech (Civil) or its equivalent from a recognised university (Full-Time regular course only).
• Preferred: P.G. Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or its equivalent.
• Desirable Experience: Maintenance and laying of Ballastless/Ballasted Track.

For Sr. Deputy General Manager (Track) — Level E5

• Government/PSU candidates: Minimum 11 years of post-qualification experience at the level of E2 (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000) / L9 (Rs. 53,100-1,67,800) or above in Central/State Government, CPSEs, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies.
• Private sector candidates: Minimum 13 years of post-qualification experience.
• Current Pay (CDA): Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 (Level 12) or above.
• Current Pay (IDA): Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 (E5) or above, OR 3 years in Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 (E4).
• Private Sector CTC: Minimum Rs. 17.70 lakhs per annum.

For Dy. General Manager (Track) — Level E4

• Government/PSU candidates: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience at the level of E2 (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000) / L9 (Rs. 53,100-1,67,800) or above.
• Private sector candidates: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
• Current Pay (CDA): Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 (Level 12) or above, OR 3 years in Rs. 67,700-2,08,700 (Level 11).
• Current Pay (IDA): Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 (E4) or above, OR 3 years in Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 (E3).
• Private Sector CTC: Minimum Rs. 15.50 lakhs per annum.

Only full-time regular courses from UGC/AICTE-recognised institutions are accepted. Teaching and freelancing experience does not count as qualifying experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on 09 April 2026.
• You must be an Indian National above 18 years of age.
• Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
• Cumulative relaxation for more than one category is allowed.

Salary

• Sr. DGM (Track): Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 2,20,000 per month (IDA pattern, Level E5).
• DGM (Track): Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 per month (IDA pattern, Level E4).
• You will also get Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), Perks and Allowances under the Cafeteria Approach, and other benefits as per NCRTC company rules.
• Government/PSU candidates in regular pay scales are eligible for pay protection.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Document Verification: Your original certificates will be checked before the interview. If any document does not meet the eligibility criteria, you will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
2. Interview: The minimum qualifying marks for the interview are 60%. The final merit list will be prepared based on interview scores.

There is no written exam for these posts. Selection is entirely based on eligibility screening and interview performance.

• Formulate track alignment plans and oversee preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GADs)
• Finalize track design including rail type, fastening systems, ballastless and ballasted sections, turnouts, and expansion joints
• Ensure compliance with design standards such as IRS, AREMA, and EN for interoperability requirements
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and bid documents for track-related packages
• Participate in technical evaluation of bids and finalization of contracts
• Plan and construct mainline and depot tracks with strict adherence to technical specifications, tolerances, and quality norms
• Manage interface and coordination with civil, traction, signalling, and rolling stock teams for track interface works
• Enforce safety measures and quality control practices during track construction and maintenance
