National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) DGM IT Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a Joint Venture of the Government of India and participating State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and UP. It works under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and is responsible for implementing the Namo Bharat Project (Regional Rapid Transit System) in the National Capital Region. This is a deputation post for up to 5 years, ideal for government officers with IT procurement and management experience. The selected officer will handle ICT hardware and software procurement, inventory management, and GeM-related operations.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics, OR MCA (Full Time) from a recognized university

Essential Experience (any one of the following)

• Option 1: Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in Organized Group 'A' Services
• Option 2: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience at the level of E2/L9 or above for officers working in Central/State Government, CPSEs, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or Government Instrumentalities

Current Pay Scale Required

• CDA Scale: In pay scale of Rs. 78,800 - 2,09,200 (Level 12) or above
• IDA Scale: In pay scale of Rs. 70,000 - 2,00,000 (E4) or above, OR last 3 years of service in pay scale Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000 (E3)

Desirable Experience

• Managing procurements, hiring, leasing of product and services in PSUs, preferably in IT hardware, software, and services
• Managing life cycle of product and services on GeM, from procurement till payments and warranty
• Inventory/stocks management

All qualifications must be from a UGC-recognized Indian University, UGC-recognized Indian Deemed University, or AICTE-approved course from an Autonomous Indian Institution.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years as on 09 April 2026
• Only Indian Nationals who are 18 years or above can apply

Salary

• Pay scale: Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 per month (IDA Pattern, Level E4)
• Pay and allowances will be regulated as per DoPT rules
• Additional benefits: Transport, Medical, Laptop, Mobile handset, Electricity, Phone charges and other allowances as per company policy
• Company Accommodation / Leased Accommodation will be provided as per entitlement

Selection Process

Selection will be done through the following stages:

1. Screening: Applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must carry original certificates. This will be done before the interview
3. Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview. Venue, date, and time will be informed in advance

If you fail the document verification, you will not be allowed to attend the interview.

• Handle procurement, hiring, and leasing of ICT hardware, software services, and associated items on demand basis
• Prepare proposals for procurement including Finance concurrence and Competent Authority approvals as per organizational SOP
• Manage placement of indents, Tender Evaluation documents, and orders on GeM and outside GeM (Quotation or Direct as per SoP)
• Conduct market surveys for proposals and projected needs of IT items
• Manage life cycle of products and services on GeM from procurement till payment, warranty, and AMC
• Monitor inventory and stock management of all IT hardware, software, and services as per SoP
• Handle life disposal of IT items as per organizational policy
