Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Technician (Pathology), Radiographer, Physiotherapist, Overseer (Civil) — T&S Grade C

  • Basic Pay: Rs. 47,330.25 per month (Monthly Rated)
  • Training Period: 1 year
  • After successful training, candidates will be regularized in T&S Grade C

Technician (Dental), Technician (Refraction/Optometry), Jr. Technician (ECG) — T&S Grade D

  • Basic Pay: Rs. 43,775.55 per month (Monthly Rated)
  • Training Period: 3 years
  • After successful training, candidates will be considered for placement in T&S Grade C

Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): All posts will have a CBT of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking. The paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
    • HEMM Operator (Trainee): Common CBT for all 6 HEMM posts. Subjects include road signs, traffic rules, machine knowledge, general awareness, and basic mathematics.
    • Paramedical Staff and Overseer (Civil): Separate CBT for each post. Section A covers technical knowledge (70 MCQs) and Section B covers General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability and Quantitative Aptitude (30 MCQs).
  2. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS — 50 marks; SC/ST/ESM/OBC(NCL)/PwBD — 40 marks
  3. Document Scrutiny/Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of all original certificates and documents.
  4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must be medically fit as per CIL Medical Attendance Rules. A fitness certificate from a government hospital (rank not less than Assistant Civil Surgeon) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and handle heavy earth moving machinery (HEMM) such as dumpers, dozers, graders, cranes, pay loaders, and surface miners at coal mining sites
  • Follow all safety rules and traffic regulations while operating heavy vehicles and machinery in open-cast mines
  • Assist in patient care, administer medicines, and maintain medical records at NCL hospitals and dispensaries (for paramedical staff)
  • Prepare and process pathology, dental, radiography, ECG, and optometry tests as per standard medical protocols
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, report any defects or breakdowns to the concerned authority
  • Keep records of daily operations, fuel consumption, and machine usage logs
  • Work in shifts as required, including night shifts and weekends, to support 24/7 mining and hospital operations
  • Assist in civil construction and maintenance work at mine sites and NCL establishments (for Overseer Civil)
