This recruitment is being done under Advertisement No. NCL/SING/HR/Direct-Recruitment/2026-27/125, dated 06 April 2026. NCL operates 10 highly mechanized opencast coal mines in the Singrauli District of Madhya Pradesh and Sonbhadra District of Uttar Pradesh. Selected candidates will be posted at mines, establishments, hospitals, and dispensaries of NCL. • Education: 10+2 plus B.Sc. Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institute
• Registration: Valid registration from any State Nursing Council

Pharmacist (Trainee), T&S Grade C

• Education: 10+2 with Science plus D.Pharm from a recognized institute
• Registration: Valid registration with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act, 1948

Technician Pathology (Trainee), T&S Grade C

• Education: Diploma in Pathology from a government-recognized institute

Technician Dental (Trainee), T&S Grade D

• Education: Higher Secondary (10+2)/Intermediate plus Diploma in Dentistry/Dental Technology from a recognized institute

Physiotherapist (Trainee), T&S Grade C

• Education: Diploma in Physiotherapy from a government-recognized institute (minimum 3-year course)

Technician Refraction/Optometry (Trainee), T&S Grade D

• Education: Higher Secondary (10+2)/Intermediate plus Diploma in Refraction/Optometry from a recognized institute

Technician Radiographer (Trainee), T&S Grade C

• Education: Diploma in Radiography from a government-recognized institute

• Experience: 2 years as ECG Technician in a hospital under a Cardiologist/Physician or in a reputed Nursing home having ECG service

Overseer Civil (Trainee), T&S Grade C

• Education: Matriculation or equivalent (passed) plus recognized 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering

Age Limit

Age is calculated as on the cut-off date of 01 May 2026.

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 30 years
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation (up to 35 years)
• OBC (NCL) Centre List: 3 years relaxation (up to 33 years)
• PwBD (UR): 10 years relaxation (up to 40 years)
• PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years relaxation (up to 43 years)
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years relaxation (up to 45 years)
• Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of defence service + 3 years (actual age must not exceed 50 years)
• Departmental Candidates (CIL employees): No upper age limit

Salary

HEMM Operator (Trainee) — Grade Category I (Daily Rated)

• Basic Pay: Rs. 1,502.66 per day
• Training Period: 3 years (as Cat I)
• After successful training, candidates will be placed in HEMM Operator (Trainee) Excavation Category D

Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Technician (Pathology), Radiographer, Physiotherapist, Overseer (Civil) — T&S Grade C

• Basic Pay: Rs. 47,330.25 per month (Monthly Rated)
• Training Period: 1 year
• After successful training, candidates will be regularized in T&S Grade C

Technician (Dental), Technician (Refraction/Optometry), Jr. Technician (ECG) — T&S Grade D

• Basic Pay: Rs. 43,775.55 per month (Monthly Rated)
• Training Period: 3 years
• After successful training, candidates will be considered for placement in T&S Grade C

Besides basic pay, you will also get allowances such as DA, attendance bonus, special allowance, transport subsidy, and medical facility as per the National Coal Wage Agreement XI.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): All posts will have a CBT of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking. The paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
   • HEMM Operator (Trainee): Common CBT for all 6 HEMM posts. Subjects include road signs, traffic rules, machine knowledge, general awareness, and basic mathematics.
   • Paramedical Staff and Overseer (Civil): Separate CBT for each post. Section A covers technical knowledge (70 MCQs) and Section B covers General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability and Quantitative Aptitude (30 MCQs).
2. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS — 50 marks; SC/ST/ESM/OBC(NCL)/PwBD — 40 marks
3. Document Scrutiny/Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of all original certificates and documents.
4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must be medically fit as per CIL Medical Attendance Rules. A fitness certificate from a government hospital (rank not less than Assistant Civil Surgeon) is required.

• Operate and handle heavy earth moving machinery (HEMM) such as dumpers, dozers, graders, cranes, pay loaders, and surface miners at coal mining sites
• Follow all safety rules and traffic regulations while operating heavy vehicles and machinery in open-cast mines
• Assist in patient care, administer medicines, and maintain medical records at NCL hospitals and dispensaries (for paramedical staff)
• Prepare and process pathology, dental, radiography, ECG, and optometry tests as per standard medical protocols
• Monitor and maintain equipment, report any defects or breakdowns to the concerned authority
• Keep records of daily operations, fuel consumption, and machine usage logs
• Work in shifts as required, including night shifts and weekends, to support 24/7 mining and hospital operations
• Assist in civil construction and maintenance work at mine sites and NCL establishments (for Overseer Civil)
