About This Job

Naini Aerospace Limited (NAeL), a wholly owned subsidiary of HAL, is hiring 28 people for Operator SS and Junior Assistant posts at its Prayagraj factory. If you have a 2-year ITI (NTC) after 10th or a graduation degree, you can apply online. These are 4-year fixed-term jobs. The last date to apply is 17 July 2026. Naini Aerospace Limited (NAeL) has released Advertisement No. NAeL/Rectt./26/02 for 28 non-executive posts on a Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis. NAeL is based in Naini, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh and makes aircraft and helicopter wire harnesses, stub wings for the LCA, and helicopter structures for HAL. There is no negative marking in the written test, and selection is based purely on your written test marks. Both ITI holders and fresh graduates can apply.

Who Can Apply?

For Operator SS posts (Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Electrician)

  • You must have a 2-year regular/full-time ITI (NTC) after 10th Standard in the relevant trade (Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, or Electrician).

For Junior Assistant (IMM)

  • Full-time B.Com / B.Sc from a recognised university with a Computer Proficiency Certificate (minimum 6 months), OR full-time BCA.

For Junior Assistant (HR)

  • Full-time BA / B.Sc / BBA / BSW from a recognised university with a Proficiency Certificate in Typing / Stenography / Computer etc. (minimum 6 months).

For Junior Assistant (Finance)

  • Full-time B.Com / BBA from a recognised university with a Computer Proficiency Certificate (minimum 6 months).

For Junior Assistant (IT)

  • Full-time BCA / B.Sc (Computer / IT) from a recognised university.

Other Conditions

  • Part-time, correspondence, distance education, and e-learning qualifications are not accepted.
  • If you have a higher qualification than the one asked for a post, you should not apply for that post.
  • 1 year of experience in the relevant area is an added advantage.
  • You can apply for only one post — the one you are most eligible for.

Age Limit

  • The upper age limit is 28 years as on 31 May 2026 for UR and EWS candidates.
  • SC / ST: 5 years relaxation
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation
  • PwBD: 10 years relaxation (over and above SC/ST/OBC relaxation)
  • Candidates with relevant experience can get age relaxation up to a maximum of 7 years (1 year for each year of experience, max age 35).
  • The maximum age after all relaxations cannot cross 55 years (56 years for PwBD candidates).

Salary

  • Operator SS (Scale WG-D): about Rs. 26,800 per month (Basic Rs. 4,200 + DA + HRA + Medical Allowance), with a CTC of about Rs. 4.56 lakh per year.
  • Junior Assistant (Scale WG-E): about Rs. 29,500 per month (Basic Rs. 4,620 + DA + HRA + Medical Allowance), with a CTC of about Rs. 4.96 lakh per year.
  • You also get an annual increment after 1 year, plus casual leave, earned leave, uniform, shoe allowance, meal allowance, conveyance allowance, gratuity, and other benefits as per company policy.

  • SC / ST / PwD: No fee
  • Candidates sponsored by Employment Exchange and Sainik Board, and ex-apprentices of NAeL & nearby HAL divisions: No fee

Selection Process

Selection is done in the following stages:

  1. Online Application Screening: Your application is checked against the eligibility criteria. You must score the qualifying percentage in your qualifying exam — 60% & above for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 50% & above for SC/ST/PwBD.
  2. Written Test: An offline test of 2.5 hours with 160 MCQs (1 mark each, no negative marking). You need at least 50% marks to qualify (10% relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD). Selection is based only on written test marks, in order of merit.
  3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (equal to the number of posts) are called to verify their documents.
  4. Medical Examination: A pre-employment medical test as per NAeL standards. No relaxation in health standards.

Responsibilities

  • Handle assembly and fitting work for aircraft and helicopter parts as per the trade
  • Operate machines and tools used in wire harness and structure production
  • Follow safety rules and quality standards during all production tasks
  • Maintain electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment in the factory
  • Assist senior staff and engineers in daily shop-floor work
  • Keep proper records of work done and materials used
  • Work in shifts as per company requirements
  • Support administrative, HR, finance, IT, or material management tasks for Junior Assistant roles

Minimum Qualification

2-year ITI (NTC) after 10th in the relevant trade (for Operator SS), OR full-time graduation (B.Com/B.Sc/BA/BBA/BCA/BSW) from a recognised university with computer/typing proficiency (for Junior Assistant)

Preferred Qualification

1 year of experience in the relevant functional area

Exam Pattern

The written test will be of 2 hours 30 minutes and will have 160 questions for 160 marks. It is a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test in 3 parts.

  • Part II - English & Reasoning: 40 questions (40 marks)
  • Part III - Concerned Discipline / Trade / Stream: 100 questions (100 marks)

Negative Marking: There is no negative marking. Each question carries 1 mark.

Qualifying Marks: You need at least 50% to qualify (10% relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD).

Exam Centre: The written test will be held at Prayagraj.
